I am thinking of buying an investment Condo on Mactan. I have heard bad things about investing in the Philippines. Do you know a western friendly Lawyer/firm who you trust?

Nice looking resort Rod, I love the carved furniture and wall plaques. Was also nice how they had those refrigerators up off the floor so one does not need to bend down to access them.As you stated it's the little extras that make it special. Regards,Rob.

Filipinos know how to celebrate Linda. LOL. I didn't include some of the fun pictures and feast as the mask police would be complaining. These people all work and live close together. The 80% poor communities haven't had "social distancing" for many months. Everyone knows that except a few politicians and mask police apparently. Happy Easter and take care.
Hi Rod not sure if you're see this but our news was saying both New Zealand and Australia will be able to fly directly from 18-4-21 no isolation required obviously there are catches like if you get stuck in either country because of lockdown neither government will help you back
@@AmazingPhilippines1 yes if there is a outbreak and either country goes into lockdown neither government's will help you ,our airline said only way they would cover losses would be if you caught covid-19 in Australia they would cover your accommodation and flight back only

Good video of course. Was there a restaurant? Or any nearby? You obviously had a feast, but I am curious if you stayed there as a "get away" if there's food services available.
thanks Chris. I did not see the restaurant but breakfast is included so I think they serve food there. I just checked their fb pages and they had a scaled back menu as of January like many places during this "crisis".
I wasn't expecting much and was quite surprised by this resort also John. You never know what you will find at the end of some roads. Happy Easter to you and your family.

These independent resorts are my preference. Many 3/4* good resorts now in Cebu particularly if you go to the outskirts
