- The final (for now) episode of “Vehicles I’ve Owned”. It was a 1977 GMC K15 that I decided to not only fix up but build a Fall Guy “stunt truck” tribute Hollywood theme vehicle including an engine build! Man was this a fun toy!
Awesome! I just got a 78 and was thinking about doing this. That is one of my all time favorite shows. YT has them on for free to watch. Nice work!
Amazing video and restoration!!!…my dream car will be that truck in 2022, but it’s ok, I’ll keep dreaming…..thank you for that video 👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍
Could you please elaborate more on this sign graphics ? Does it come in gold ? Do you have a link ?
Thanks
That's was a nice truck
No it's not 100% Fall Guy I get it from comments but this guy put a lot of time and money in it and it's his personalized version of Fall Guy Truck! 👍
That Miata looks like The Miata (don’t think I should say her name) that was a Autorama 2019 for the Waterford hills track, also I had the pleasure of seeing this in person and was pleased by its outcome and great to see a video on it… I love the fall guy, also how did you get the decal for the hood that was a major question.
A small sign shop in Allen Park known as Sign O Rama was able to print it as an internet image!
On a side note i know the person who had the Miata in Autorama 2019. Shes a great driver and has a different Miata now thats even closer to the orange that my Miata was. I race a 944 now in the touring classes
Awesome build! Thats not a screen used general lee, the tv cars didn't have marker lights they filled them all in,the tv cars removed all emblems, all of the tv cars went to the wide pushbars after the first couple of season..dude lied to get attention
Can you tell me the dark brown paint code and where you located the wheels and rims as well as the exhaust.
I agree man my dream truck is a 1970 blazer the year I was born I found one that was orange and it was the perfect color but somebody had a rhino lined the inside and outside and I was just so disgusted with it I couldn’t do it and they wanted 20,000
I was just wondering if the truck came with dual tanks?
Never mind I just saw your picture of the exhaust lol nice job
Not close.....the Fall Guy truck started as a 1980 3/4 ton GMC square headlight. It then transitioned into the jump truck and a 1981 then became the show truck. The trucks were always automatic. The truck was brown and gold not a creme color. It had 15x36x16.5 Dick Cepek Fun Country tires. Dick Cepek off-road lights. The show truck had a Warn brush guard winch combo. The jump truck had the winch combo removed for weight and the engine and transmission was shifted to a mid engine so the truck would land level when jumping
So, this is a tribute replica for the mid engine jump truck?
Yes! Same year as the stunt truck was!
The guys may not be assholes they might be trying to tell you things on the truck...! That aren't correct for to be a fall guy truck...
The color is totally wrong! It was TAN and brown, not beige and brown!
Wrong year and class. Not an 81/82 OR the K2500
Still looks great
no hidden unsafe door in the bed. 6 inch lift kit. you painted a Chevy brown. you won an award putting a sticker on a truck. we are not asshole forknowing it's a Chevy with a sticker. BTW studios been seeing guys for cloning movie cars
Wrong year. The trucks that were used were 1981 and 82, NOT 73-80. Research.
Actually, the original was an 80, then later went to 81-82. Funny, but yeah, nobody seemed to notice that the fenders, hood, and grille would sometimes change during stunt scenes between the body styles. However, the 80 did have it's own headlight bezels that didn't match the late 70s years, either. But watching another YT video of the guy that has the stunt truck, it doesn't have the 80s headlight bezels that were on it in all the jump scenes I've seen. Lot of inconsistencies even on the TV series with the year.
@@mystupidvideos4347 You are correct sir. Kudos.
