I love that, Linda. Documenting our difficult times inside of our albums is really important in my opinion. I often share my struggles inside Project Life albums, because they are a part of our lives and I feel it will not be a genuine album without adding those pieces of life inside our albums. I love how candid you are and how honest and genuine and it reflects in our albums as well. I wish you a wonderful time in your new chapter and I wish life will be easier from now on. Our tendency is to want to document only the fun or happy events, but life isn't always fun or happy. I think it's healthy to acknowledge the tough times, deal honestly with our feelings about them, so we can move on. I appreciate your willingness to share so much with the public and wish you all the best as you start a new chapter in life.

Your walk through of your album was perfect. You shared just enough. I love how you use different kits for different weeks. I've been married many years and it is has not always been easy. I just want you to know that you are a beautiful person. You look young enough to be your daughter's older sister. I will follow and support you diligently in the upcoming years.

Thank you! Hidden journaling has been a huge tool for me to share some of the not so great stories/more personal feelings where most people won’t see it, but I have the memories alongside everything else because it helps tell the complete story.
I agree life is not always easy. Project life should be just that- life as it is. I am a project life documenter too but I lost my daughter last year to a drunk driver and I have found it hard to document the months around the loss. I work on my current album but I try to work on 2022 in small doses and it is usually hard but therapeutic. My daughter loved my albums and I know she would want me to keep them going
I’m so sorry for your loss. I agree that scrapbooking is very therapeutic to work through the hard times and cherish the good times. I’m sending you lots of good thoughts and encouragement as you work on your album and through this hard time. ❤️❤️❤️
I loved the flip through Linda. It helps to see the monthly progression (again) using the various kits and pieces from your stash. Although I'm sorry you had to deal with a lot of heartache this past year, you are right that it is a part of your life but not the totality of it. You have so many great, creative ideas for using the product in your pages with the addition of stamping, stitching. etc., and I am grateful you share them as I am primarily a PL documentor. (and a little TN too) ❤
Thank you! I enjoy other projects as well, but I think project life is still my favorite. I haven’t really gotten into TNs but I picked up a few on sale from Studio Calico recently so I’m planning on diving in.
Hard times are part of life and this is "Project Life" lol Hidden journaling is my favorite way to document that kind of stuff. What I have a harder time with is actually WANTING to document. When life is hard, I just want to stay in bed. I do the minimum that life requires of me. Even though this is my hobby and my passion, and a stress reliever...it is not something I feel like doing when times are rough. I really admire those that can push through and get it done anyway.
I definitely get it, sometimes I’m not feeling it either and will take a break until I get the urge to create again. Sometimes, for me, I will just journal in the hard times and come back to this album later. But I love having the complete picture when I look back and that motivates me to get it included. ❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful scrapbook. So glad i came across this (tho my youtube account has been taken over with kid shows). Sorry about the divorce, never easy no matter what side of it you are on. Pray you become much stronger through it. I absolutely love the newpapers you included.. will have to look thru your channel n see how you went about some of these ideas i now have rolling in my head. :D I surely want to get back into scrapbooking a ton, but finding it very hard with 2 littles, a job, n helping hubby (he is a Pastor) or church things. Life is good!! :D

I totally understand the time balance, it’s tough but doable and sooo important to make time for the things you want to do.
