Getting mine delivered tommorow. I had a bad first step with hardware synth when I bought behringer neutron. It really wasnt for me, sounded way too retro, noisy, no midi automation for parameters, only 2 voices. Also the fact that it constantly goes out of tune didnt help. After watching what minilogue xd can do, i dont understand why i was so stupid to buy behringer in the first place. This just blows it out of the water

@@fjfrancois with the old Minilogue you just need to turn the Delay up, it starts to "Hiss" making the Delay useless, unless you want the dirty Delay sound :)

Woooah, all of these sounds are fantastic. I have to think about selling my minilogue that i've been using for a few years and buy this beast. The difference is huge.
wow those are some amazing sounds from a Minilogue what a difference from the last one Korg put out. I mean that one sounded good but this one sounds great and I may actually want to buy one now.
If they made this with the ability to layer sequences and save them as songs into a bank within the synth (Like roland jd xi) I'd buy this immediately.
now i'm glad that shops around me were always out of stock on the original minilogue (and many just focused on promoting the monologue instead) so i never ended up buying it. it sure was a lot of fun, but i'd be pissed if i had one and then saw this video. thanks korg!
Thanks, best demo so far for this synth. Also shows how nice it is to have a sequencer on a synth. Biggest letdown imo regarding the Prologue, I mean let's create a flagship product and leave out the sequencer...
the interchangable waveforms would make this worth buying alone, but full fx section, stereo out and CVIO plus the sexy new colourway - tak mah money!!!
massimomagrinimusic I clicked on the vid all hopeful like “Oh shit maybe they improved the sound quality! Listen to the whole thing , there was one patch that didn’t sound like a rice crispy. I will take the fattest patch from any logue and it doesn’t stack against the weakest patches of the Analog 4
This is basically a Minilogue with Monologue features added. That's not a bad thing, but for someone like me who has both a Mini and Mono, it's a pass. Still cool, and I have a friend who I think will be all over it.
6 voices-make it about £700 would sway me. ATM you can pick up a Novation peak for £950 & that seems a better deal than this @ £550 with half the voices & less features. I also wish they get rid of the keyboard but they are of course not making this instrument for my needs.
Korg really had to release an overhauled Minilogue since Behringer‘s Deepmind is quite competitive. Glad they did because now I want a Minilogue xd instead of a Deepmind 12. but a deepmind 6 is still 200 bucks cheaper.
That revoiced filter makes me envious...My biggest issue with my minilogue is that pushing the resonance anywhere past like 25% totally cuts the lowend and the loudness...Sadly mine isn't even a year old an it's already out of date
It is a well thought out improvement. I had to couple it with a solid keybed / midi controller....because the keybeds on these are just awful. However, I really enjoy the quality of the synth itself.
lol a friend of mine just got his minilogue two weeks ago for basically the same price as the XD.
lol that friend is me.
All I can say is xd

Me too hdkwksbdidksvd
Send it back 😉

I can't see this without thinking of the "xD"
Same. First I thought whats so damn funny about the minilogue :D
xD
I like this synth xD
The Minilogue is laughing harder than "xD", it's "XD"'ing.
Rawr uwu what's this
I didn’t understand a word of what this oddly but remarkably dressed gentleman said
LMAO
I'm digging the sweater.
LOL
You should get into music then
This sounds WAY better than I expected it to, and my goodness, it's feature packed! Korg has really hit it out of the park with this one.
The clarity is excellent. It might kind of sound a little too thin at times compared to a Moog but overall it’s a home run
Even Korg couldn't wait 2 weeks for NAMM with this... completely understandable.
Yeah, that's one way to really stick out from the new gear noise. :)
@@PalleSvensson Indeed. Good move in my opinion.
4:12 I keep returning to this lead piece! It sounds amazing!
I think its an 80s song
Kind of sounds dated and somewhat cheesy. Still a great unit though

As long as more synthesizer means more Timecop songs everything is fine.

The first five seconds of this video sold me this synth. Damn.
I hope you guys put a lot of Minilogues now on Reverb for a good price for me.

Only potential deal breaker is the lack of the bi-timbrality we found on the prologue. REAL PITY

Wish it upped the voice count to at least 8
