I am from Pakistan sir . I am of 16 years After watching your sessions about students i totally changed. I failed in 9th class 2 times my 2 years were wasted but i did not give up and at my third attempt I Got 85% marks in my 9th class it was a miracle. As Sandeep Sir said, I have made happiness as my center point of life and I have understood myself fully and have decided that I will do something financially and after I have earned enough money will pursue Carnatic Music as my full time profession. My name is varun and i am big fan of yours.
First of all "being happy " , this topic is really really really the best you taken, kyunki aaj kal people talks everything but not the "Happiness". you very well said few things like:
1) Happiness is in present moment ( not in past , not in future ) , whatever we have, we should first or for most think about it , well picked sir.
2) Dreams , yes dreams are an illusion , it creates desires sometimes ruins life as well but sometimes gives an aim as well . Like you said : a person must give a deep thought of his/her reality , nature , attitude , strengths and weakness and then should take the decision not just blindly follow the dream. very well said.
3) Facing criticism or maa baap k suggestions : Like you said there are always some logic behind parent also we should also consider that things also like CA is always the safest profession and parent always always want ki unka bachha safe rhe.
Some Detailed obeservations :
1) 7:50 : A Boy shared his reaction over your thoughts on Ki kaam karo not for happiness just for living survival ghar ho . The boy said ki agar hum sirf survival sochenge to usse satisfaction aa jayegi or satisfaction aa gayi to dreams nahi rahenge and fir banda progress kaise karega. I guess you interpreted in a different manner "Dreams" : yhan ye banda dreams ko shayad motivational factors and targets se relate kar ra tha na ki wo bachho wala dream ki singer ban na h bade ho kar , actor ban na h and bla bla bla . aap ne lapeta dreams pe achhe se , sirf "Dream" word ko pakad k happiness k session ko wohi old Dream vs reality k discussion pe chle gye, well jo bola no doubt wo jabardast bola. But i thought ki wo banda bhi genuine tha at some points because har bande ko kahin na kahin motivation to chahiye rahta h ( i am talking about real reality ).
2) Blind followers makes the master bit careless : Thought came when i heard "zero" from a guy at 8:19.
3) 10:28 : When Girl not able to express her thought : I noticed a girl want to say something and tried two times but you were speaking. Yeah that girl should have raised hand first and then start her thoughts but i thought you could also have acknowledge that girl. Accha hota.
4) 10:44 : A girl expressed ki parents support nahi karte for talent or some unsafe profession . And you gave well thoughts ki yes maa baap bhi sahi kah rhe hote h at some points and children should also consider these facts as well.
Summary of my thoughts which came to me after watching video in detail:
1) "Happiness" : Please please please take full session on this topic. A humble request.
2) Love you for what you do , really you are a big insipiration
3) Can you do one session with successfull people about how they get it , how they felt in their struggle days and all . Achha lagega jab aapki 10 12 successfull log baithenge or aap ki thoughts or unki thoughts par discussions hoga.
I am real fan of your , so dont take my any point otherwise.
