Wow haha. This hit me in the nostalgia. I remember when i was little, i used to visit "grandma" who owned a shop like that. i haven't seen or talked her for long time since my parents divorce and moving overseas. I learned that she passed away 2 years ago and i keep thinking about the memories there. I used to get the chocolate that comes with stickers! It was such a long time ago that I almost forgot how the inside looked like but this reminded me of it. She had kotastu there in the winter while waiting for customers. Thank you for sharing this video!

This build (along with the other traditional building in the background) is absolutely giving quiet small town neighbourhood during late Shōwa. I’m obsessed.
A beautiful build! Despite being a white rural American, the house portion of this build gave me such strong nostalgia for my grandparents' home that I started getting a little emotional. The candy shop portion was also stunning, and it reminded me a lot of the cool old fashioned candy stores we have here. It's amazing how all of your builds tell such wonderful stories without ever showing a single person. You're very very talented, keep it up!

It truly is beautiful. Jars of many types of candy, numerous objects of varying color in contrast against the brown and white walls... Imagining excited kids wander around to see what kind of candy they'd like to buy... But it's making me hungry (T_T)
