This would definitely be a new dish for me. Looks very tasty Ms. Paulette. Thanks for sharing how you make it. Have a wonderful and blessed weekend! 😊❤
Thank you my sweet Friend, have a blessed weekend!!! Xoxoxo
That cou cou look so delicious! I made a cou cou video earlier this week that I will be putting up soon, I wish I had seen your video before I could have taken some of your ideas
Aaaawe, lol.
Hi new to your channel. Can't wait
Yaayy love it 🇧🇧
Thank you so much dear. Xo
can you do it without the okra? i’m bajan and hate okra , love coo coo though
wait nvm lol my mom adds the okra in the meal
@@GabrielleStuart Hello Ashley, I am so sorry I took so long to respond to you but I see you have sorted it out. I was going to suggest the way I do it would be perfect for you unless you do not like the slime but cou cou is not cou cou without the slime. My version you do not have to eat the okras; you are just getting the slime to cook the cornmeal with. Me personally, I love okras, I just prefer to have them on the side. Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope to see you soon again. Have a blessed week ahead. Xo
Yummy food ❤️. What is the name of fish?
GM Krishna, it is flying fish from Barbados, thank you so much for watching, I truly appreciate it; hope you are enjoying your weekend. Xx
Wow, thank you
Good job❤❤❤
Trinidad coo coo has coconut milk in it and your stewed fish method is unique
Hello Charlene, I would definitely love to try the Trini version. Thank you so much for watching and I hope to see you again. Be safe and well.
What brand of cornmeal do you use
rashod Jackson Hello Rashod, it really depends on what I can get at the time, sometimes it’s Iberia or whatever, but I prefer a little course in texture. It is hard to keep up because whey you like a particular brand then they stop carrying it; you know how that goes. But I really appreciate you watching and thanks for your support, be safe out there.
Everything Paulette yes i know how you feel but check amazon. And no doubt imma fan don’t see too many bajan youtubers on here.
@@rashodjackson5687 GM!! Yeah I never thought of ordering food items from Amazon, great idea. Regarding Bajans, you are so right, they are a hand full out there but they are not into it like the other islands like Trinidad, Guyana. Bajans are too lay back. I am very thankful for your support though; really appreciate it. Thanks again and have a great week and be safe.
Hey quick question. Where did you get flying fish from in the United States?
Hello Al, it would most definitely be from Barbados, someone brought it for me; thanks so much for watching, have a great and blessed week.
@@EverythingPaulette Hmm, do you know anywhere you can get some in the US?
@@Albiesure23 🤔Unfortunately no, so sorry.
Our national dish 😍👏🏾
Thank you Rayna, wishing you and your love ones the very best for 2020.
Its not!
Looks good but I prefer my okras chopped up in the cornmeal and some extra whole okras on the side. Dont like steam flying fish prefer fried. 💕🇬🇧
How much fish did you use?
NIIICE
