- We're back in Gears 5 with the boys and, like riding a bicycle, I still got it. There are some good clips, one-sided games and a little bit of frustration but overall I'm having a good time with this entry in the series.

I went back to play Gears 4 and man was there a difference. Visually a little less detailed but the movement was way better. It's not so fast and the shotgun doest shoot like a damn sniper like in 5 lol

Man, I remember finding Goldy and Arctic Zyn by looking up how to get better in Gears. Haven't played Gears 4 or 5 though; the newer one looks slower regarding movement speed for whatever reason. Nades look heavy as shit too.
Yeah you are right. Gears 4 was build based on GoW3 with some tweaks and improved movement. It was an honest GoW entry for MP but has a lackluster campaign IMO. Gears 5 otherwise lacks identity in MP, was slow at the launch and they slowed it more with 2020 updates but the campaign was very good (for gears franchise).
4 is perfect movement wise but 5 is ass

You should execute downs. Since you're not on the game much, its really satisfying.

I was soo good at this franchise but after 15 years...I've done more than enough
My best battle came from being challenged by an *intermediate* clan & beating all of them individually in a 10 round bout in "MERCY"
But that was in 2017

I wasnt into gears 5 when it came out I got back on around operation 3 and have been playing ever since. Gears and Forza horizon 4 I probably play everyday or close to it at least.

Not gunna lie I always thought gears had some of the weakest multiplayer ever, like the meta is basically rolling around like a quadruple amputee spamming your shottie in between seizures.
It's a shame really cause once you ditch the one shot weapons it's actually pretty good

So weird imagining people that play Gears on K+M. Fair play to you guys like, but I recently came back after months, years even, and I attempted m+k but it feels so damn unnatural. Back on controller but changed controls to tournament? Frustrating as hell games but total opposite feeling when your shots actually register 😅🥰
M&K is so OP when you play with controller. Movement and shots are ten times better.
