Bay of Blood is a direct inspiration to Friday the 13th films. Some of the kills are even almost a direct for shot remake taken from Bay of Blood.
Bay of Blood is superior. Finally saw this not long ago. Friday the 13th definitely ripped it off. Only thing superior in Friday is the mother/killer twist and the kid drowning backstory.
The lovers who get impaled by a spear comes to mind most. You’re right. BOB is the blueprint for F the 13th. I prefer its other name, Twitch Of The Death Nerve. The ending of the movie is pretty good and oddly humorous.

Well done trailer. The unique color shots accompanied by Cipriani's score with no dialogue keeps from revealing too much and adds both intrigue and horror elements at the same time.

It's known under quite a few titles...but I like 'Reazione a catena'....believe it translates as 'Chain Reaction'....and yeah it is a chain reaction...there's one moment in the film when it's murder followed by murder, then yet another murder...and then it's a giallo so it's a bloody murder mystery
