We Traveled To Africa To Run A Marathon With Russ Cook | #1 From Bremen to Ghezala

On the 7th of April 2024, Russ Cook @hardestgeezer became the first person ever to have run the entire length of Africa, and has documented everything in his • Project Africa Series .
He started running from Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of Africa, in April 2023, and 352 days later, he left behind 16,000 km, crossed into 16 countries and reached Ras Angela, the northernmost tip of Africa, in Tunisia.
A day before, we traveled from Germany to Tunisia, to witness this historical achievement. The decision hasn't been and easy one, never having traveled outside of Europe before, but the internet is a powerful tool. We found people embarking on the same journey, worked together, and ran the final maraton with Russ Cook, as he reached the northernmost tip of Africa.
