I show you how i use it, combined with gear i use in real situation to give you an idea how the guitar sounds in context with all effects, cause who use these kind of guitar straight into the amp ? nobody. I use both Bridge and Neck pickups as Kirk does, i've never see him use both pickups together so ...
You can riff hard on it and in the same time really Lead with it. But the big surprise is you can have really nice clean tone and light overdriven tone as well, and this is really cool to cover all range of Metallica tones.

Welcome Friends, finally a demo of the KH-2 ! It's a way to present a little bit my rig too for the one who interested in.
I present the guitar how i use it (with pedals etc...) through 4 sections (Clean, light overdrive, Heavy and Lead) with 'Tallica exemples (titles are written in the corner)

Thank you very Miguel, nice to read you love my videos. The answer is in this video, my set up is pretty simple but totally different of what Metallica have.
Since my King Nothing video i change my amp, cab and mic' to something really different and really usable in an easy way, like a plate form pedal amp and IR cab and it's killer. My pedal board don't change since this demo.
If you notice, even Metallica never had the same tone on every record, it make me understand many years ago the main thing is the way you play the guitar, not the gear, i think this is is the point to sound as. Hope i give you some point with this answer friend !

Actually getting guitar soon if not today, but KH202s are out of stock. I think ima get a cheap king v and replace with emgs later on. Or get a C1 cuz they on sale with emgs already.
EMG pickup are great for lot of stuff. I hope this demo show that, specially in the first part ( Clean and Light Overdrive) !

I had this one for 1400€ two years ago, really a good luck !!
But some ESP or Ibanez guitars can be great for this kind of style less than 2000€, don't try new guitars for a long time i have to say !
But try to get one who stay in tune, have a nice balance and it should be ok for everything !

This is KH-2 made in Japan... it's not LTD at all. Some production around 2007 add this silver / black hardware, but it's KH-2. So yeah, this is pretty good guitar !

I think all the made in Japan are custom shop, this is a regular one, but a real ESP, not LTD. and yes, this is a pretty good guitar for this kind of stuff !!

But ESP Standard and E-II are japan made but not a custom shop.
ESP USA are all custom shop.
My Eclipse blue natural fade partialy csutom shop.
