Been having a rough time trying to get gameplay with the knife since it feels so much less consistent than the beta but it is still so fun to use when it does work out.
Im diamond ll and find that once you get into the high ranks of play cloak just isn't as advantageous as evasive. Via people in plat and up know the sound ques for the cloak and instantly turn around making the cloak less reliable and actual more of a pittfall than most players think. Cloak will be meta until people truly realize how ass it is in my opinion...
Trying to use the dash to get at peoples back feels really ambitious. I like using cloak since its really easy to lose someone's aggro and if they aren't cautious or lose interest too quickly I just come back for round 2 and get them. I feel like it also makes camping the cashout almost too easy. I just chill till I hear someone's stealing it and then go shank them for the win.
Honestly yeah it is so much harder to use the dash for the dagger since it just isn't as good as the cloak but when it works, it is so much more satisfying
Like the sword you can charge the secondary attack during the dash , if you get next to somebody and turn towards their back it sometimes registers as a backstab
My inner spy want this to worth so badly , sadly it was out class by demoknight / sword now . The mobility > what ever dagger even brings to the table now . At least it was better than *throwing* knife i guess
Dude this video is art, im trying to find the perfect build for dagger, can you tell us what was the last gadget on both games please? I can't tell because of the OBS logo, thank you, please more dagger videos
I actually have and they are extremely fun to use, dont really know if I like them more than the dagger or not considering how fun it is to play with them
what's your opinion on the dagger changes? I played it to lvl 4 in the OB and only unlocked it now. I looked into your content back in the OB since you're one of the few dagger players and maybe even the best one, so when I felt all the changes i knew i had to ask some questions to the man himself. 1. do you think that it's faster makes it better? 2. do you think that not being able to hold it anymore nerfed it a lot? 3. would you say the auto aim increase was a good or bad change? 4. would you say the cloak changes are good for dagger or not?
1. I think anything being faster is always a good thing 2. I think its more about preference as I do like not having to hold it down but some situations I do wish I was able to charge it so I won't have to whiff my backstabs as I have been doing lately 3. I would say the auto aim is a double edged sword as it helps to secure some kills much easier but at the same time it kinda screws you over especially with the backstab attack cause I have honestly have had the auto aim miss completely and would rather have to actually aim it. 4. From what I know about the cloak changes and how it is harder to vanish, it is objectively harder to stay alive as easily as you were able to before. Some attacks with the dagger would let you instantly be able to go invis the second you started the attack so if you timed it properly you would be able to stay invis while attacking at the same time but now you have to wait until the swinging animation is done. It makes you have to play more disciplined so this is an easy yes it is harder to knife with the invis changes. Also overall about the dagger, I think either the backstab is way less consistent than the beta and I don't know if its all the little changes add up and make it feel less consistent or if they toned down the hitbox for backstabs. Overall using the dagger has been harder than the beta but I've been getting used to it and have dropped a 31 kill game with it so it is not completely bad, you just have to be waaaaay more disciplined when using it and find perfect moments to attack.
The dagger's charge atack is so clunky, if the was la Tf2's dagger its would feel nice to backstab someone
A tip: you can animation cancel the backstab with a quick melee to take out a heavy instantly
Honestly a good tip that I've been using since seeing this

I don't even have to play ranked to know that invis is just not useful, most of my lobbies I get beamed out of invis unable to do anything.

Its boring for some people to just use the cloak, dash is faster

There's a lot more tec you can do with dash as opposed to just waiting around in cloak. I like both though
Nice cash out 👏 1:46

It's one of my favorite weapons to use, mainly because people don't expect you to be using it. And with Evasive it's just makes you harder to hit.
I commend you for preferring evasive dash since its soo much harder to use the dagger with that build

I've been able to do that and it is honestly so fun
i have never used the dagger before, but now i wanna try it out
let me know if you have because it may not be the best weapon by any means, it is fun when everything works out
My inner spy want this to worth so badly , sadly it was out class by demoknight / sword now .

The only thing this weapon can do is bring is satisfaction on the off chance it decides to work for a game or two
@@lil_gilby7456 when source melee reg more consistent , I'll be dagger in tf2 .
The finals ... for the goofy destruction plays...
i really hate the animation not showing, it throws me off every time. i be thinking its not functioning, or my character being scared or something
Not the most frustrating thing we have to deal with when using the knife but it is one of the annoying things
Omg such good game play
Nice
Thanks

I think we see him use smoke grenades, flashbangs, and stun gun. Stun gun seems to be the one hidden by the obs logo
@@starloose9467 thank you!!
yea, sry for taking a while but the previous comment was right
@@lil_gilby7456 thank you Sr
How'd you make all enemies health bar red?
Honestly have not changed any settings so I have no clue
Try the throwing knives if you haven't already, i've been having a lot of fun with them.

Beta dagger was way more reasonable , especially how pointless compared to sword now
Invis was cooler
ngl u need to work on those stabbing skills
