Hey Michael, this has been the story with this trading model since their inception. Connor kills it and everyone else struggles. I have advice to all traders who are looking for a model to trade that can yield 40-100 ticks. Wait until the previous day's high or low is purged and take a trade in the opposite direction. The problem is everyone assumes that's too simple, so they look for a shiny object that calculates entropy with coded language models that can sense your next move (or whatever the newest version of this thing promises). The funny thing about this software is you still have to know PRICE ACTION for it to work. Skip the bullshit and just learn price action to scalp 20-30 ticks.
I know of at least one trader who's scalping 7-21 ticks and apparently doing quite well out of it. Has his own TH-cam channel...

Man I feel your pain so deeply. I'm desperate to try to get it to work as well tried every single thing to no avail. And the thing is they promised to send the video install since last Friday and yet it's not here. Like why would you release a model without a proper install and setup so that everyone can understand and start using the software effectively. I'm so annoyed I even asked for a refund from support and they completely ignored. Tha KS for keeping us posted I too am trying dofferent things to get it to work and if I'm successful I'll Def share cuz clearly Connor and Ron won't share their actual setting and instructions to use.

Hello Michael. I am the guy Ron "went for" in the comments of his video. Funnily enough, I responded to his reply saying that despite machine learning, the gulf in results shouldn't be that big and that this was an issue before machine learning was introduced. And like all of the other comments that confront the issue, it was deleted within minutes. He also has been saying since his channel's inception that he will make a video on how to train the ATI. There is still no video. On another note, at 21:58 there is a setting named "Machine Learning-Train the Model". Perhaps this is a setting you need.

Hey Michael great feedback on this program and definitely agree with you on the lack of support as I have sent an email with no response. I have had it for a week and using it manually on Ninja's demo account on ES with great success. I am just picking when to arm it, which mode - trend or regression and havent lost a session yet. I do understand order flow and are a decent discretionary trader which helps. If someone who has installed the machine learning succesfully could do a comprehensive installation video from downloading the files to settings etc would be great. That is what FA should have done on release not the poor instructions that they have given so people have to pay for a 1 on 1 install session.

Obvious issue: FA in California. Most of the rest of the trading gurus are in the South or Wyoming because those states have very little consumer protection. From a law point of view, providing actual settings that Connor uses would create a financial advisor relationship with customers. Connor is filtering. You can't see the filter. Hence, he is not giving you the settings and no fin advise relationship exists. No law suits. No Cal Dept of Justice intervention.
Hey Michael. Thanks for sharing. about 22 min mark, you are showing your settings on current model. You have "Overwrite" ON. That is only used when initially building a new model and used with "TRAIN THE MODEL" when looking back 30 days to gather data, to get your rsme / r2 results for said new model. That should be OFF for a built model.
Yes this is correct Michael. You’re basically overwriting the whole model so it’s no longer trained which is where you may be going wrong. This is the mistake I did on my setup call with Peter and he quickly pointed it out and redid the setup… I’m seeing some good success with it when testing and I’ve a completely different approach to everything I’ve seen online so far for utilising the correct settings. I’ll send an email this week to the one you posted in the comments and we can jump on a call to go through how I’ve got it working
Hi Mike, I trained the model on Auto Arm trend mode for a couple of days. It lost about $1500 for 1C each session. Then I reran it, adjusted the stop loss take profit, and changed the trend and regression as needed. It was actually profitable! It went up $750 for one contract, 40 minutes running, 16 trades, 7 winners, and 5 losers. So, it needs more testing, and we will see how it goes. It's a very fine line between profit and loss until it's dialed in. I want to work with you on this, and we can help each other and the group if we can make it consistently profitable. Why is everyone going to get unique entries when we are all trading on a centralized market with the same conditions ?? that statement makes absolutely no sense to me Ron is just a hype man.
The reason they say is incremental learning. They are making sure it is subjective so no one can blame it. Very smart marketing. The views and subscriptions from YT is critical for them, this is like hopium people keep going to those channels.

Just for the sake of it Could you try the same bar as Ron and see what happens at the same time. I picked up from watching the vids from the guys, The discretionary way they move quickly from regression to trend which I am sure is playing a big part.

You are right brother this one doesn’t work. I have seen ONLY two. Connor and Ron. I know how to set it up, I trained it the way Ron trained it turned it on in playback 3k loss. I did sim trade loss again. I am planning to post setting videos, initial training like Ron did and post trading in playback on same dates and times like Connor and Ron did it will be losses.

I've recently tried the connors prepackaged model. One day i had over 1k in profits, the other day (it was yesterday) had around -1.3k. It might be cuz the market was too volatile because of the news. If you guys want i can share my settings, maybe youll find more success.

Thank you for providing an open forum for people to post their experience(s) with Futures Analytica. Please keep posting! I had hoped Ron's channel would shed some light on how to properly set up PATI, unfortunately it's just a place for him to humble brag, berate and gas light others . IMHO
Wow. Totally disagree with your "opinion." Ron has shared a lot of very good information in the descriptions and the comments of his videos. The only people that Ron has called out are the people who keep asking the SAME questions over and over.

Seems from the comments on this channel and others that there is a large disconnect between Connor's and Ron's performance; compared to the average user. It's one thing to not have the same results, but a whole different story when most are experiencing loses. People are asking the same questions over and over and over for good reason ie the answers[settings] aren't working for them. Connor and Ron have been asked repeatedly to show their actual setting in NT8, and they BOTH have the same answer "setting are in the description." Why can't they do two clicks of a mouse, and prove they're actually using those settings? Again, please fire up your own channel and show us how well it's working for your trading. Thanks.
I asked a simple question to both Connor and Ron about use of Min and Max settings no answer…that’s ridiculous
21:07 in a way this is promising, I haven’t figured out a way to playback and train the model, I’ve downloaded all the market data but I can’t get replay to work with everything. We can maybe assume that if we can get the first few months of the year in playback at 8x to train the model during market hours. 6.5 hours a day Monday through Friday - I would assume the model would be 1-2 gigabytes of information. Currently my trained model is 445mb. And the addition of this back tested data might be the difference in entry price.
I have struggled with NT8's Playback functionality as well, but I am new to Ninjatrader as a trading platform. I have always used TOS. The latest guide gives some very good instructions as does "Installation guide for Polarity ATI ML Beta from Futures Analytica" video by EvenEvjen. He provides some much background information. Check it out.
I made a mistake by turning on AutoArm during training. I have to redo the training now. I am also reconsidering doing training at a higher timeframe per the guide book.
The method can be saturated, hence the lag of support.
i dont think he meant by cum delta looking at the numbers ; cu delta i think the one hes talking about is the chart of cum delta and maybe compare that with the actual move of the market and see if theres some divergeance is so he will use regression ; this is my interpertation
One thing I think could be a problem is latency. When I watch Connor and Ron's fills on orders, there seems to be no to little slippage. I would assume they are using a vps close to the cme. I guess my question is how many people have a vps close to the exchange ?

I have used Connor's model with a 1ms VPS and still get negative win rate

Do you have the exact same setup?, i doubt that, down to the last details, especially the service provider for VPS and data feed. You might have a good VPS, but is it good enough?, and in the right location for this to work properly?
Same exact prepack trained model from Connor Setup Yes. High end VPS 1 ms so yes for that too. Location Chicago. Tell us if you have had any luck. If so what did you do to get there. You seem to know why my model failed but do you have success. You never mention that you do. I cannot seem to get any guide or instructions from any one that has been successful.

@MichaelNappi You say that you are running Connor's pre-packaged model that is provided with the current R9B release.
Please clarify for me - what time zone are you in? I assume that you are in the US. Connor's model (and any trained model) works best if you set your PC to Pacific time - the same time that the model was trained in. Also, with optimization, many settings are constantly changing. So to expect the same results as Connor (or anyone else) is not realistic at all and insisting that he publish his settings when they change all the time is nuts.
I used to write end-user guides for computer HISs for a living working directly with R&D teams. I do think that the "Guide Book" that FA provides with the tool is lacking in quite a few areas. There are too many holes in the documentation, but it is much better than it used to be! :-) I may try to rewrite it to show Conner and his team how it can be improved. To Connor's team's defense - they have added incredible new functionality since they started. It is difficult to document a moving target. As they improve the tool, they are also learning.
The bottom line is that too many people do not understand just how incredible this tool is. I do not know of another trading tool that is adaptable to new market conditions and so customizable by the end user. So, for many people this tool is not for them. They are better off buying the other products - at least until this tool is out of the beta stage and is stable. It will be a rocky road and quite frustrating until then.
Great insight & input. Time will tell. It would be nice to see other users of this product have success. Other than Connor & Ron n one has stepped forward. You seem to have way more knowledge about this than most. Question for you is when do you except to get your model winning. A few people have stepped up to defend FA which is very nice but no one has shown any success to back it up.

If you look at the descriptions and the comments in Connor's and Ron's videos, you will find a lot of hidden gems. I would never compare my results to Connor's results. Not only is he an experienced trader, but he is also the mastermind for this tool. He has used this tool for so long - through all the trials and errors - that he probably makes a lot of his decisions automatically now.

I comb through all the comments on any FA videos to see what answers I can get. The best one from Ron for me? Paraphrased: "When you first train a model, the results will not be good." As I was training a new model, the losses were terrible. I was about to give up thinking that I did not know what I was doing when I remembered this tip. The model is getting better with each day of training - but if it had not been for this observation posted by Ron I would have quit.
@@FDT-Atlanta Pete & Connor never mentioned anything about me changing time so not sure I should follow that advice. My model had a few good days & by that I mean it was about break even. My guess is your model will also have good days & bad days but never get consistent like they advertise. I'll be interacting with other trades from time to time to see if anyone can be successful in the long run with FA. I don't have much time to interact with everyone so may not have time to read all comments.
@@MichaelNappi-yi8eb I just asked Connor to confirm about changing your TZ to match Connor's TZ in order to get the best results. He just said that is NOT necessary. It is in today's FA video where he is trading ES at ~29 minute mark. Hope that helps!

have you guys thought that maybe MAYBE if a guy is selling a money printing machine he is not printing money himself? at the end of the day the use of this "bot" is fully dependent on YOU as a trader and what YOU know about orderflow

I’m a quant developer and I see right away Connor’s model and settings will work even if he makes wrong choices switching between trend and regression. I have personally trained models and replicated Connor’s settings bc I’m a quant developer. For transparency, the software has a lotta things behind the scenes for Connor and his team. There’s not a lotta things I can share. I will not allow my friend or relative to buy this software. There’s more to it than his live videos. That’s purely marketing. You will never get the same results and I challenge anyone on this. Be safe and don’t get scammed!!

I've been running this thing in sim for two days, and all it did was lose. My settings are what they provided. If anyone has a solution please share.
What time zone are you in? Is it Pacific? If not, you need to change your computer to Pacific time as the model uses Time of Day in the algorithm.
How do you apply Connor’s model? Every time I try to to import the pre-packaged model and I just can’t get it to work
Have you unzipped the R9B.zip file and used the contents of that zip file to import?
Have you tried running it in VPS ? You see both of you are right, your AI took a trade in regression long because the bar data of yours accumulated 4 short imbalance when it close , and
Ron AI took a regression short because the bar data of his, have a 4 long imbalance. The problem is the price go to his short because it is probably the right data and yours
and us have the wrong data meaning we are not getting the precise data, somewhere because of latency or we lost some data on our way.
Any loss of data is more than likely tick stacking related. Have a look at the documentation Ninjatrader put out regarding it.
I agree no support from FA. Took a week to get my machine ID approved. Then to pay for install is crazy. Even the prepackaged model I’m finding difficult to setup for the second time. Not going to pay for another setup. Don’t know why the setup is a secret. BS!

Interesting that you had that experience. Just curious - did you submit the forms to get your NT Machine ID approved? Mine were done right away. I think they have it automated if you use the forms?

Yeah, 100%. We just need @futuresanalytica, also known as connor, to change the algorithm to take the opposite trades and actually take care of their customers. You can't say or ask anything because they'll either delete your comments or, at best, ignore the real questions.
I am not profitable using the same settings as Connor's.
They need to make a complete video instruction series on how to install and work with this program of theirs. the instructions that they have that are written are horrible

You might want to try looking for recent videos. There have been several. This is the one from FA.
And just a reminder for all of you who have never worked for a software company.... Beta products are moving targets. It is best to work with a core team until you get a stable product. If you cannot accept this, it is probably better for you to go pay thousands of dollars for an automated product that you cannot customize at all. There are plenty of those on the market. I am 70 years old and I saw the value of the product right away. But I started in computers when we used punch cards to load programs and the first desktop PC had a whopping 10 MB of storage. When the engineers at AT&T found a way to go to 20 MB we thought we had died and gone to heaven. LOL

They Say you can use playback but no faster then 10 speed, I can't even get my training button to come on or get the learning to work without problems. I have all the buttons that need to be checked on. I think we should make our own group to help each other to make this work.
@swebe4743 just a note to help in this specifically - there are two types of "Train the Model" theres is "Training Mode" and then there is "Incremental Learning" in either playback or live forward - just to clarify

Customer support sucks at Futures Analytica. I’ve been waiting 3 days for a response. I purchased the product but I’m having an issue installing it properly. I paid to have it installed but I have to wait until 4/29 for that. That’s just ridiculous. If Futures Analytice is too busy with their personal lives to deal with customers then maybe they should just make their $5K a day, enjoy their lives and not offer your product for sale.
Good luck...I sent 9 follow ups over two weeks ( reminders on daily basis) and did not get any response from those guys. I believe they have a person named Zach as Customer Support Head. I can say they just don't respond and probably don't worry about customer support.
Peter is horrible with customer service..I email him with 2 questions and he only reponds to one of them which then leads us to a lengthy email string which is completely unnecessary.
We were deceived. His argument is we’re still in beta and he’s using the same version as us, yet he’s still profitable every stream. Funny how he puts “full transparency” on his videos now. Lies.

Yup mine was deleted as well when I told someone don't bother asking for the setting cuz he's not going to share it. He replied and said he tries to help where he can and STILL never posted it.
