that’s flatly not true, he’s constantly shouting out his team and saying takes they had in the green room. the only difference is those guys don’t have the freedom to speak like they do on DP

I once got a small tour of a local radio show of how itscrun and boy I saw a war room. So many people working behind the scenes to make a show happen
Just because you see them give credit on air doesn’t mean he treats them good off air. He doesn’t!!! Look at Ellen, she always praised her people on air and look what we found out about the off air stuff…..Dan Patrick is a lazy liberal pos who didn’t want to work hard anymore while at espn so he left. Ironic. Patrick, a few years earlier, had called Cowherd "lazy" for copying his work. Now Colin is being "lazy" again by copying Dan and calling him "lazy". Lol.

that’s the point, you missed the idea. no one is right all the time. the people who have the courage to be potentially be wrong and fail consistently are the ones who succeed at most things in life. colin is extremely successful for this reason and many interviews by coworkers of his attest to his work ethic.
He constantly bangs on Baker Mayfield, despite the fact he has improved as a qb.

colin is a 'sports shock-jock', whereas Dan Patrick is a Radio Personality and true Celebrity.
He doesn't say anything edgy enough to be a shock jock. The shock jock era of radio was the best. Dan is a big Howard Stern fan and has taken things from Howard for his show. Unfortunately the only shocking thing about Howard now is how shockingly bad his show is.

Colin has always been a clown 🤡.. but lucky for us, he knows & understands everything 🙄😒.. DP has an ego yes, but half of it is a bit & the other half is earned ego. He also props others up, while Colin has always been all about number 1.

I don’t know if DP is necessarily lazy, but he does have an ego propped up by all his yes men around him on his show. Despite that, the DP show is good and so is the Herd.

I stopped watching cowherd when he said people that didn't go to college were losers. He thinks he is a psychiatrist and a counselor. DP show is fun, entertaining and he has cool guests.
He denies using alcohol in a really suspicious way on his podcast these days when people point out his red eyes and slurred speech. Colin is a stooge.

Colin is on another level than Dan Patrick in how good he is. Dan is a nice dude, and was a really good anchor, but his “sports show” has always been kinda a clown show of unfunny people trying to be funny. He relies on his amazing celeb guest list and pretty much is living off the success he had at ESPN. Vanilla takes, and random producers chiming in, idk it’s not for me.

I listen to both shows. Dans show is more sports/entertainment and I enjoy the fact that he lets the other guys on. It brings an enjoyable dynamic. He does have vanilla takes but it’s mainly because we live in a reactionary/microwave take sports world and he likes more context. He admits that he does not give hot takes and is aware his takes are “vanilla”. Cowherd is very matter of fact about his takes. He thinks his takes are the final end all be all opinions. Colin has this thing, like most of us, where he picks and chooses who to support where as Dan is pretty unbiased. In the last 3-5 years FoxSports has slowly transitioned to a format like Dans where it’s more of a conversation. Colin was solo for a long time but now he has Joy Taylor , Alex , now Jason to kinda have a different view on things. Doug Gottliet was solo for a long time but now he gets Dan Buyer, Jason, Sam and Ramos involved so it’s more of a discussion than one guy monologging. Not saying Dan invented this format but if you look at shows that I mentioned and shows like speak for yourself, odd couple, jay will and Kellerman. it’s now more of group discussion now
Dan keeps it real and doesnt make shit up, if that makes him vanilla, well its better to be honest than say stupid shit to get views. Hes the best.
