Excellent interview. I am following Dr Alok Sharma for the past 10 years. In USA, it is Dr Joanne kurtzberg of Duke University who is swimming against all opposition to do clinical trials using umbilical cord stemcells for autism. As Dr Alok says the Pharma industry has succeeded in making her to decide herself to stop her work on autism but continue her work on other pediatric Neuro diseases, in spite of showing improvement in autism with both autologous and allogeneic umbilical cord stemcells, where there's nothing else to offer for these children by way of drugs or surgery.

Stem cells, chondrocytes cells and MSCs implantation are the future of surgery and because of cell therapy we can expect life span to cross over 100 years for an average person in India. I am proud to be part of this startup from IIT Which is commercialising this technology in India.
There are also no chances of infection or immunological rejection with cell therapy.

The list of diseases for which stem cell treatments have been shown to be beneficial is still very short. The best-defined and most extensively used stem cell treatment is hematopoietic (or blood) stem cell transplantation, for example, bone marrow transplantation, to treat certain blood and immune system disorders or to rebuild the blood system after treatments for some kinds of cancer.
Some bone, skin and corneal (eye) injuries and diseases can be treated by grafting or implanting tissues, and the healing process relies on stem cells within this implanted tissue. These procedures are widely accepted as safe and effective by the medical community. All other applications of stem cells are yet to be proven in clinical trials and should be considered highly experimental.

Hi, I just started researching stem cell therapy for my son. There's another really good video on TH-cam that I watched yesterday, and I was comfortable with reaching out to the clinic that made the video. Look up World Stem Cells Clinic in Cancun Mexico. I had a phone consultation with the Dr. and he explained everything and took his time to answer all my questions. I'm still researching but I'm almost positive I will go with that company. I wish you luck.

I have read the reviews at his website and some of has really given actual feedback which includes that they only entertain high society especially people from outside country. Other thing is that there is no guarantee post stem cell implementation as there will be infection going to happen to patients or not.
I guess they should provide real time testimonials to support this implementation

Stem cells are also found in period blood. Menstrual blood-derived stem cells (MenSCs) are a novel source of stem cells that can be easily isolated non-invasively from female volunteered donor without ethical consideration. These mesenchymal-like stem cells have high rate of proliferation and possess multi lineage differentiation potency.

In ancient India everyone used to preserve their stem cells in the thayattu on the day they are born by mantra saani(similar to gynaecologist).. around the waist which used to help them in need.
After years of destruction by invaders and their mockery on our systems slowly everyone dropped learning them. Now no one knows why they are tying their childre or grand children a thayattu because the actual thing for which it's used is gone long ago
Also temples are our educational centres not mere spiritual centres
