  • Dr. Kari Grain is the author of Critical Hope - How to Grapple with Complexity, Lead with Purpose, and Cultivate Transformative Social Change (2022) and a faculty member at the University of British Columbia, where she leads the Master of Education program in Adult Learning and Global Change (ALGC). She also serves as a research associate at Simon Fraser University’s Community Engaged Research Initiative. Her research focuses on community engagement, critical pedagogy, climate justice, and adult education and has been featured in peer-reviewed journals, books, blogs, and podcasts.
