I work for Hertzs Competeror and if youre apart of our club membership via Amex or whatever, you book a midsize and choose from the aisle. If you book a compact well put you in a compact or change your reservation to a midsize so you can choose off the aisle
Do you know what make the rental car employee decided which car go to the gold aisl/ five star aisle/ presidents aisle? It seems like some car a like a camry are present in all three sections.
@natehiger410 I can't speak for Hertz since I work for their competitor. But for us our Gold equivalent sill have cares like Midsize cars, Compact SUV, Standard cars, intermediate EVs, and Standard Hybrid Cars, but we'll also have higher mileage (15k-25k) Fullsize Cars (Camry) and Midsize SUVs. Then the Five Star equivalent will have lower mileage (under 15k) Fullsize Cars (Camry) Midsize SUVs, Premium Cars, Luxury Cars, Sports cars, convertibles, Standard SUVs, Premium Crossovers, Conpact EV SUVs, Vans, Trucks. Then President Circle equivalent would be Fullsize Elites, Standard Elite SUVs, Premium Elite SUVs, Luxury Convertibles, Fullsize Elite EVs
think I know the answer to this but if President's Circle, I can just book the cheapest booking possible when booking Hertz and then when I get to the Hertz rental area, pick any car I want available in the lot, right at no additional charge?
Hey BK, so you just select the lowest tier when booking and they upgraded you automatically? I have this too but never used it, so wondering myself. Thanks!
Yep, I went in the night before I got the car. I first had to create an account with Hertz and got the standard Gold Plus status. Then I went to my Venture X account and was able to upgrade it to the President's Circle which gave the benefit. When I booked the car I went through Amex and Hertz had the best rate. But I find in general Hertz is normally not the cheapest option even for the cheapest car. But, it is definitely good to use if you get a good rate and they have some good upgrade options.

assuming the annual fee of 395$ thats a fairly good deal compared to AMEX platinum which gives PC status as well
does president circle still apply if you book throguh the capital 1 portal? or just through hertz website@@BKAdventures-fe7en
