Hi everyone! Just wanted to give you a quick update on my on-boarding process for the Doctor of Education (EdD) program at South College. In this video, I discuss meeting my program mentor and the pacing guide that keeps us on track. I also talk about the research courses and share insights on program cost as an international student and Education Grant recipient. These videos reflect my personal experiences and opinions, not sponsored content. Feel free to leave comments or start a conversation about South College. Your thoughts are welcome.

I plan on applying for the January start! I'm at WGU in the MSCIN program and should be done by October if all the stars align I really look forward to your upcoming videos.

Looking forward to continuing to follow your journey. I applied today and as a WGU grad I hope it’s similar!

That's great! :) I will probably share a new video soon since it's almost 1 month since I started.

This might be for some people, but I don't think it's for me. I couldn't write 600+ pages in one year.

That's good you know yourself and what you prefer. Academic writing in a concentrated period of time isn't everyone's cup of tea.

Did you have any difficulty getting accepted into a doctoral-level program after attending WGU? Loving your content. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the comment! WGU is regionally accredited, so it holds value even for me as a Canadian. I went through an international qualification assessment process in my province, and they recognized the equivalency of my WGU master's degree to similar degrees in Canada. I also hold another master's degree from a Canadian university, so that was taken into consideration by some schools. South College only required my WGU transcript and accepted me right away. No problems at all
