It’s 2023 and this is my first time hearing this man speak and honestly I could listen to a lot more. If a family ever had a spokesperson this guy is represent them well and shared some really good knowledge. Great interview. 👊🏾

It's easy to say keep the estate tax when you have billions. It's not so easy when the family farm or family business has to be broken up. Farms in particular work on small margins. A $10 million dollar farm may sound rich but that will barely support 3 or 4 families working that farm.

bananas A simple google search about family charity corruption from the Trump charity to the Clintons to the many scandals involving charities across the nation. 503c charities have only been investigated at a rate around 2-3 per year out of hundreds of thousands. Owning a charity is a license to not pay taxes on your money.

Listening to this Rockefeller , I like what he is saying.
It was a stipulation of his fathers will that everything be sold. Just to be clear. And the over half a billion dollars will go to the foundations they themselves own, keeping the dollars working for them.

but the proceeds go to a charity not to what taxes go too. Does it? The money goes back to them because they are by their families? they are very good at business. But the rich can travel and do things with family and and taxes don't hurt them that it would others. and when you have a bunch of houses selling a few is one thing. their situation is just so different from the general public that don't want a tax on stuff they want to hand down to families. He has a nice voice and I love the crackling in the back but truly he seems like us all in touch with our cultural way of life. its awesome how they have been able to remain close. I have only seen a few pieces, but I must say, so far their collection has been very underwhelming to me. Lots of Eastern Art, and lots of contemporary art. Not to say that both styles are inherently bad, but their taste is somewhat disturbing. Their contemporary works are very sexualized and twisted. I expected more traditional art from such an old money family. They own a few Renoir and Monet works, but their collection is ugly for the most part
