This is so incredibly helpful, thank you! I’ve resisted idea of moving bath time up because I had it so ingrained that it needed to be part of the bedtime routine and that I couldn’t do it before dinner. But it’s so true, I can always just wipe her down after dinner. Thanks so much for this explanation!!

Glad it was helpful Brooke. I hope that the earlier bath time is working well

Transitional, of course! Thankyou! Lots of things have changed in our household recently, going from a baby only tub, to a bath, then moving to a new house with a new bathroom, everything seems much different! Even changing a nappy can be a transition & we have some troubles doing that too, with the follow up routine of getting dressed to brushing hair & teeth all become a battle even though she loves the outcome to get outside of the house is our main goal I have to keep reminding her of it to get anywhere! 😅

Absolutely! It's a lot of transitions and it's so easy to forget how new that is for them still. We have also found getting messy before the bath lends pretty well to getting in- like if we did sensory play beforehand or painting, then it's somewhat natural that they want to clean it all off.
