Speed Queen Commercial Alliance dryer noise repair

My speed queen dryer started making noise after 5 years. Other videos led me to think then common roller replacement after only 5 years. So, I thought further inspection was required. Trash was the issue!

I don’t know if you know this but you can have your door open up the other way so it’s not in your way loading

Ya, we had a vacuum hanging in the wall before and didn't want door to hit it

Probably need to get a new front bulkhead, if you add third glider bracket to the bulkhead this should help the problem in the future. Eventually if you do not repair the front bulkhead, it will cut into the drum, and then you will need to replace the drum and the bulkhead.

@@VintageSpeedwerks yes, I realize they found a screw stuck in between the bulkhead and the drum. Unfortunately if you re-examine that bulkhead again and look at the top of the fabric glide, you'll see that the drum is cutting into the front bulkhead, which means you will need both the drum and bulkhead replaced in the near future.
