If being vegan should be a protected characteristic then so should carnivores and omnivores. Ridiculous.

Veganism should not be a religion. And what's this talk about militant veganism? You don't fight violence with violence, and there are ways of doing things and ways of not doing things. Vegans can open the door for flesh eaters but only the flesh eaters can walk through it.
As much as it would be better if more people became vegan or at least vegetarian, we can't force people to do something they don't want to do.

I think we should be focusing on the health benefits. Keep doing studies. A lot more people will get on board with that way of thinking which could end up “tidying up” other unpleasant issues.

Veganism as a religion??!! What absolute rubbish. Liz Jones says she worships animals, she is a nutter. I’m a vegan but I’m not a fanatic. I just don’t want to eat meat eggs fish or drink milk. That’s my own choice my nephew is vegetarian an his. Forget is vege/vegan. Their mother is a meat eater. EACH TO THEIR OWN.i meet my friends at different times they eat meat in front of me -so what?! I do not dictate to what people eat just because I don’t want to eat meat. I don’t feel the need to fight about what people eat.

It already is, have you not seen the zealots preaching on all social media? Constantly telling you they are right and you are wrong.

You wouldn't be ridiculed if you just kept your veganism to yourself instead of being militant about it. That's the problem, isn't it. Your insistence that you advocate for me, a meat eater, to be like you. Forget it.
