    Hi Jennifer, this is Jason again from Northern California. I would like to say that my experience going through customs this last time which I was over there for about 12 days from 16 March to the 27th. Make a long story short the customs went really well. The staff was really nice, check-in was really easy on the incoming and outgoing times so it does work if you have everything in order which I had all my itinerary in order, I had to QR code that I needed to get into the country taken care of before hand. thanks to your advice and I had all my stuff in order which makes it a lot faster. Thanks for everything you’re doing to help us out. Hope you have a nice day.😊❤😊

    Ms Jen i went back home last December, it was smooth sailing in entering the Philippines, i can say twas about 10 minutes, everything was finished from immigration. Twas really amazing! But, going back abroad, my goodness the immigration checking, they were so disorganized, taking sooo long to check every individual, lucky for me my flight was at a later hour in the evening. Some passengers were already fetched by the airline crew. It’s disappointing, I understand it was a festive season but even then, the head of immigration should have some systemic ways in dealing with passengers.

    My last PAL flight from Tacloban, to Manila, and onward to LAX. PAL was two hours late getting a jet to Tacloban. I literally had to run through Manila airport with a Filipino airport employee. Because of going domestic to international, I had to have my checked bag, opened and I had to look through it. They then retagged my suitcase and we ran to international terminal bound for LAX.

    Flew into MNL late 2019, connecting flight to PPS which was in a different terminal. the layover was SHORT. Instead of waiting an HOUR for the "free" shuttle (Boyboy was on his balut break and got distracted with the sexy photos his gf was sending him), fired up Grab app, got a car to show up in mere minutes, drove like a banshee to the other terminal, and rushed into the hall to join in what was a massive bum fight at every counter;;. was able to get the attention of the ticket agent who got me through the security quickly and to the gate just as it was final call. Install the Grab app, and do not loiter around waiting for "free" stuff to magically show up curbside.

    Terminal 1 is smaller than Terminal 3 but it is bigger than Terminal 2.
    They should maintain Terminal 2 as a purely domestic terminal together with Terminal 4.
    But they should also have more dedicated shuttle buses that move passengers from domestic Terminals 2 and 4 to international Terminals 3 and 1, this aside from the existing shuttle bus that connects terminals 1, 2, 3, and 4.
    For example, a bus that shuttles only Terminal 2 to 1, back and forth; and Terminal 2 to 3, back and forth. Same for Terminal 4 to Terminal 1 and 3 back and forth.
    For domestic passengers that need to transfer between Terminal 2 and 4, there should also be a dedicated bus whose only function is to move domestic passengers between Terminal 2 and 4.
    Oh I forgot so let me edit: there should also be a dedicated bus that moves between Terminal 1 and 3 for international passengers who lay over and need to move between Terminal 1 and 3.
    So at least 6 buses are needed to do the work. Maybe they won't need anymore the shuttle bus that moves through all the terminals.

    Jennifer Terri,
    You are the #1 most reliable source of information for travelers to and from the Philippines 🇵🇭 👏👍
    Now I have a question about the VOA; I think the day of arrival is not included in the 30-day count, is that correct ?
    Looking at my last year's passport stamps they seem to suggest that it's actually 31 days;
    Any arrival and departure in the Philippines results in 3 stamps in your passport;
    Red (arrival) stamp; September 26, black (notice of last day) stamp; October 26. That's 31 days.
    And a green stamp which is your actual departure.
    Another one;
    Red: March 19, black; april 18 (again that's 31 days !)
    So I think the count of the 30 days stay starts on the day AFTER the arrival in the country, is that correct ?

    The long lines in immigration is because of the poor standards 9f IOs not the passengers. It takes them forever to spot a passenger who m8ght be human ttaffic victim, it takes them awhile to spot fake docs. There are bgger airports around the world, but has shorter immigration lines. • @wradak
    @wradak ปีที่แล้ว

    I don't think moving around minor airlines from Terminal to Terminal will change anything for the better in regards to waiting times at immigration. NAIA is simply over capacity and the flight scheduling is a mess. Of course you'll have huge congestion at Terminal 3 immigration when an Emirates A380, a Ethidad 777 and a Turkish Airlines A350 arrive simultaneously; thats over a thousand people arriving at once all trying to squeeze through the few manned checkpoints in the late evening. The few small PAL A320s arriving at the same time at Terminal 2 aren't even half that many people, not to mention that it's mostly domestic flights and does not require immigration. They should rather schedule big international arrivals accordingly and spread them out evenly over available gate slots at Terminals with appropriate immigration capacity. One or two flights less of tiny airlines with tiny planes at one Terminal per day won't make any difference at all.

      How was your experience going through the immigration and also returning back to the States? How long did you wait in immigration line? How many hours before your flight you arrive at the airport going back home? The process? We’re planning on going soon, but with the inconvenience we might change our mind. The Philippines is so complicated compared to other countries, it’s very annoying. I also have dual citizenship but only have US passport. Did you end up paying a fee once leaving in the airport? Thank you advance 😊

      @@laniesider2586 There’s no problem hoing back to US. No fee. At least 3 hours before flight you must be at airport. You being dual just be in line to “Foreign Passport” You’ll just be asked how long you’ll stay in PH, has to be within 30 days, otherwise you will need visa or have to prove PH citizen to stay longer. Going back to US, self machine scan of passport not needed by US Immigration. Good Luck. oh BTW… I took China Airlines, Taiwan stop of1.5 hrs. The best solution for me are these!
    1. If the old system will be followed, make the ticket of the offloaded be refundable!
    2. If it can not be refunded, start first with immigration screening before buying the ticket! Parang pag kuha ng visa! If a person is not allowed to travel, walang ma lulustay sa kanya at puwede siya mag reklamo!
    3. Lahat ng screening gawing video and audio recorded! And give us the right to video our screening!
    Di ba mas maganda, pag alis ng pasahero, wala ng pipilahan na immigration! Alam ninyo na perwisyo ang immigration!
    At ang pinaka maganda! Hindi na ma lulustay ang pera ng tao!
    Sa ganitong paraan, mag sawa sila sa screening! Tanggalin ang immigration sa mga paalis!
