I love those tall headboards. Back then all beds were full or double size so lot of ppl dont want them but i love that old furniture. It has character and its wood and hand carved.

I worked at the Crescent Hotel for three years as a maintenance man. I rented a room in the basement to live in all that time, my room was right next door to what used to be the morgue when it was a hospital but now it’s the hotel laundry. Like I said I lived in the basement next to the morgue, I was the maintenance man, I’ve been in every room in that hotel multiple times working in one thing or another. I’ve wandered those hallways late at night to fix something that broke down. What I’m trying to say is I’ve been in that hotel over, under, sideways & down for three years & I NEVER saw a ghost, a vision, a strange light, weird noises or NOTHING out of the ordinary happening at that hotel. I told the management that I know that the hotel’s NOT haunted, but they told me if I valued my job that I better not tell any tourist that, because the management has created this big ghost story shit to get that tourist money & if they didn’t believe the hotel was haunted, they wouldn’t come & spend their money. So you can believe what you want. People say that a ghost touched their arm or they saw a vision at the end of the hall, they’ve had ghost chasers that supposedly captured ghosts on camera. I call BS, that’s just stuff to keep the myth alive & the money rolling in. Like I said, I lived there, in the basement next to the morgue for three years & didn’t see or experience squat!
Well when it comes to ghosts and stuff it's real hard to say a place is or not haunted cause I feel it depends on the person. Hey Jared I’ve commented on another storyteller about the Ozarks. My family and I never stayed in the Crescent but we were allowed to walk around. It’s an old creepy hotel and the cat you mentioned was there. There was a cushion down in the lobby where he slept, he was a very popular cat. I haven’t been to Eureka Springs in probably over 20 years but it’s such a cool town.
I would live to spendca night in that hotel....or any haunted hotel. If you're a ghost, a hotel would be a perfect place to haunt. Lots of people to prank....
You really should go to Gettysburg, spent our first anniversary in the Cash Town Inn. Didn't see any ghost but felt a few there. Drive through the Park after dark, and don't miss devils den. With your voice you will be bring out the dead rebs. Just watch out for yankee ghost.
We stayed there right after they reopened it. We didn't know what the time but they gave us what came to be known as the most haunted room in the hotel. I was going to go back and tried to reserve that room, but they had taken it out of inventory. I won't go into what I saw but it's become so well-traveled now it seems to have lost its vibe. I remember petting Morris the cat who was also the hotel manager at the time.
