I spent 4 years in college in the heart of the redwood forest in Northern Ca. There is a reason you feel that way, this place is magical, you can feel it when you walk around the forest. If you have never been there I highly recommend going. Humboldt would welcome you with open arms

Redwood tree is one of my favorite trees because they look so powerfull and majestic..
Shoot mostly everything with our Red Epic Camera. But i shoot a lot with 5d Mark III.

Yeah. TH-cam limiting the bandwidth for some people. If you really want to make sure it is 4k you can rip the 4k file from youtube with VideoHelper on Firefox.

The resolution that he references is that of the Red One, but he said that he used a Red Epic. Depending on which of the two he actually used, that means that his 4K is either 4.3 or 4.5 times more pixels than 1920x1080.

no worries. a lot of people think that. and don't worry i don't know anything about this youtube world. Devin been telling me to get on here and post my own stuff on for years. I've help him shoot and color with a lot of his videos so that might be were the similarities come from.

DaVinci Resolve. It's a free program from Black Magic! Also i shoot everything super flat. That way in post i can extract as much dynamic range and color out of the image i want. The vivid setting on like a 5d MKIII are great if you have a fast turn around, but setting like that often clip the reds and highlights.

4096x2160 ProResLT. TH-cam will take ProRes files and covert it down. I've noticed that doing that is the best way to get the sharpest image out of TH-cam rather then giving them an already compressed h.264 file.

Amazingly beautiful...
That happens when you smoothen your footage in post production to avoid camera shake. To avoid this, you have to scale up the stabilized shot or decrease the horizontal and/or vertical vertical smoothing amount.
you should enter this film in the Cann festival. It is magnifesient.
