  • How to Enable or Disable Built in Administrator Account in Windows 11 [Tutorial]
    Commands Used:
    Net user administrator activate:yes
    Net user administrator activate:no
Windows 11 includes a hidden built-in Administrator account that serves as the system administrator with elevated rights by default without needing Run as administrator or UAC (User Account Control) for elevation approval.
The built-in Administrator is not protected by a password by default, but you can add a password to the account to help prevent unauthorized users from signing in to the account.
The Administrator account has full control of the files, directories, services, and other resources on the local computer. The Administrator account can create other local users, assign user rights, and assign permissions. The Administrator account can take control of local resources at any time simply by changing the user rights and permissions.
    Issues addressed in this tutorial:
    administrator account windows 11
    administrator account windows 11 password
    administrator account windows 11 disabled
administrator account windows 11 not showing
    administrator account windows 11 activate
make administrator account activate windows 11
    add administrator account windows 11
    access administrator account windows 11
add new administrator account windows 11
can't access administrator account windows 11
Windows 11 includes a built-in administrator account that allows the computer manufacturers to install apps without creating a user account. For general users, however, the account is hidden by default to prevent unauthorized access.
This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets running the Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems (Home, Professional, Enterprise, Education) from all supported hardware manufactures, like Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, Alienware, Razer, MSI, Huawei , Microsoft Surface, and Samsung.

I have my Administrator account o n the black screen . I then enter 'Net user administrator activate:yes' from your site and the response is access denied. Why do I even have to do this in my own home and on my own PC? Windows is getting more and more complicated. I'm just trying to copy and paste some files from a range of folders.

I did as you showed, but the administrator option still shows in the lockscreen, which I do not want. When you go to sign in using it, it says the account has been disabled.

I got a "system 5 error" then it denied my request. I haven't been able to do basic stuff in forever because this dang system administrator wont allow it. I can't even save picture to my desktop because it isn't allowed. I hate it!! lbvs! Help!! I've tried to get rid of the password function on my computer because I live alone and it's not needed but it's not letting me do ANYTHING systemwide because of the administrator.
I seem to have 2 accounts, the one with my picture on it, that I use all the time that is the administrator, then one with the same name as my picture with no picture on it. I was trying to get rid of the blank one (don't have the slightest clue how it got there) and since I live alone I have no need for an administrator, who's blocking everything. I just want an open computer...that's it.

Commands should be "net user administrator /active:no" or "net user administrator /active:yes". Too many shady videos or half-baked videos on youtube

    • @birchflash
      @birchflash ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@Tyler_Fuller I did find a solution but don't remember exactly how it was done. I searched my history and found this:
"The "Yes" button is missing if your current user account is not included in the created "Administrators" group, and there are no more active user accounts with administrator rights.
To restore the missing Yes button in UAC, you need to boot Windows 11 in Safe Mode, and add your user account to the built-in Administrators group using the elevated command prompt."
      Hope you'll find a way.
