But there still is a problem. Even if I am fully administrator I cannot add my user name to the full control members in the folder/properties/security/edit/add. When I go there, I see this user with full control access: "System". The add button is disabled. How is this possible if I am the owner of the bloody laptop???

Installed an app that required to be installed as a non-administrator. Problem : after switching to an user account, there was no way to become admin again. Method 2 saved my ass. Thanks a lot.

when i open "Load Hive" during boot on Regedit. the main C:drive is not there, but it is on the computer on launch. i couldn't even find it typing "DISKPART" and so on, at CMD. This is very new issue only encountered with windows 11. Is there any other solutions of revealing the main C:drive so i can acess it?

For the second method when I load the hive there is no local disk

I have watched plenty of video articles on google but i was so worried that i have to reset my my pc or have to reinstall the window all my will be wiped i thought ,but this 1 video helped me thanks a lot.even though i did the mistake changing the netplwiz in admin to device owner.😅 But this video helped me

I got an ASUS notebook with Windows 11 pre-installed. Non of your method worked. On the second method where need to change 11 to 10, I had a different from 11 code and changing it to 10 didn't solve the problem. Anyway, your knowledge is very impressive!

I was an administrator dut when i made a new account and made it an admin an made my account standard and i put the same email as the standerd account and when i go to tje admin it shows a sign in but when i click it it shows a white screen and go back to where i was

I have tried everything you have showed and still my laptop issue is not fixed. I am not seeing anything on the C-drive, it is blank when I try to load hive. I have lost complete admin rights and what's even more concerning is I am not able to load C drive (root drive). I have nothing backed up and am extremely worried that I would lose all my content. Any help is greatly appreciated.

So I tried the second method after watching your other vid and it didn't work.
Basically I originally wanted to enable the admin account while hiding it from the logon screen.
I tried to do this so I could add security and make it hidden because I never was going to sign into it anyway.
Not I can't install things because the UAC pops up and I can't change the registry back without UAC permission.
Please help me fix this and include a warning in your other vid. I really don't want to do a clean install.

Please somebody help me, in method 2 (at 08:00) he change 11 to 10. While mine is already at 10. Then I type 10 too (idk what I did), and yes it doesn't change. Should I change mine to 11?

unfortunately when attempting to open "windows32\config" in windows 11pro I'm tool blocked by no access due to lack of privilege.... attempting to use family account now,,... if this failures then it's clean install.... I've been using the Admin account like this for 15yrs I had no issues kin 2021 but, now all the sudden wham!!!! thanks windows pro

When I try to load the hive in solution 2, it tells me that SAM is being used by another process. "Cannot Load X:\Windows\System32\config\SAM: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process."

Second solution: am i supposed to ahve a profile labeled administrator? If so i dont think this worked for me
with method 2 when I click on "command prompt" it asks me for an administrator password that I don't know.
Furthermore I don't have the local users and groups
