This was such a magical night. Standing side by side with one of my best friends in disbelief that we were witnessing someone we grew up listening to on oldies radio our whole lives--a living legend. I lost my friend a month ago at the all too young age of 22. Thank you for the magical night, Paul. I'll cherish it for the rest of my life

Best night of my life, and I really don’t expect it to be topped. And that’s okay. Not my FIRST psychedelic experience, but our little Roo fam *helped* a couple of first timers sitting near us as the show was starting, and it was even very cooler an experience watching them come up listening to Paul sing the Beatles. I often reminisce and hope that he felt the love we were sending. There’s no way he, as a human with a human brain, could comprehend how much he’s given to the world and how much it’s appreciated.
I was there. Working for a private security company for the whole festival. Got to see this whole show for free. One of the greatest moments of my life because I am a HUGE Beatles fan. this video doesn't even do this time in history justice. Even more a shame people do not get to see the whole concert. Or the fireworks that were going off during Live And Let Die chorus. This show was like 3 hours long. 3 encores. Paul is a true showman! Tribute to George. And when he played Hey Jude.... the whole crowd sang from both sides...... So beautiful.
I was there. Luckily, up front ten feet from the stage. The sad thing about this video is that it's only an hour. This concert finished so strong. Where is Helter Skelter, Day Tripper, Lady Madonna, Hey Jude and Live and Let die? The concert started as a love fest. It morphed into a psychadelic experience (Benefit of Mr Kite???) , followed by melodic hard rock and finished as a love fest. I've seen McCartney at least five times, including Coachella. This was the best. That crowd didn't expect and wasn't prepared for what McCartney delivered. He totally got the spirit of Bonnaroo and elevated it. I remember people screaming "Oh my F'ing God." Amazing.
I still remember standing front row between Sir Paul McCartney and 80,000 other screaming fans. An amazing experience. I still get the chills thinking about it. Kinda wish this video had the full concert tho.

Me and my friends were out by the arch. A literal sea of humans. Everyone was having such a great time. One of those things you only experience maybe once in your lifetime if you're lucky.
My first festival! I was like 35. I literally cried while singing Hey Jude with 90k lovely happy folks! Absolute fantastic weekend!

I helped put together a group of 30 that paid $2,500 that took a private tour bus from Nashville to the show, backstage parking and meet and greet with Paul in a tent and group photo. We were on a private ramp stage right above the sound board for the show. Paul was awesome to meet and even stopped to wave to us on the way off stage. Well, his wife was standing with us. The money went to LIPA the school of music he works with in England. Good to see what the show looked like from the front. So awesome, especially 80,000 singing "Hey Jude". Thanks for sharing the video.

bennytude is right....I live near where the festival is held and have been to several. From parking to camping to items you bring to admission to the stages......VERY STRICT!!!! A very cool festival even with the strictness...At least is was when they had more popular known acts performing. To me it seems now it is tapered more to the college crowd. I do agree though that Sir Paul would be a hard one to "FAKE" trying to take the stage...Lol
Freddie Armstrong As a Bonnaroo 6 year veteran I totally don’t agree with the college stigma at Bonnaroo. I see lots of people from various paths of life. Just last year I saw a bunch of 60 year olds dancing their asses off to Chic and and to The Killers.
I should have said that many of the bands seemed tapered to the younger crowd. I do agree that people of all ages do attend. Maybe it is just me because each year more and more bands are playing that I have never heard of. Peace
