YAY!! I've missed your presence here on TH-cam. As far as tests go, I'm currently testing Aimee's Campus Vest and Tori's City Top - so that takes me into July. I've definitely tested more garments this year than last year and I can feel it in my WIPs/queue. We'll see what the second half of the year brings and I typically don't apply for tests in Oct-Jan but yeah, we'll see!!! Not gonna lie, I'm having a lot of fun knitting sleeveless or short-sleeved things that don't have to be "summer" garments necessarily but rather layering pieces for the other 3 seasons so that actually means they get a lot more wear opportunity. Your spinning is beautiful! Take care and talk soon friend!! Best wishes with the end of the school yarn and start of summer break!! ~Stephanie
aw thank you Stephanie!! I am also hoping that I stop applying for tests 😅 man, my WIPs pile is just eyeing me so much! hope you and the kids are enjoying summer break so far!
Giggling because I was picking up stitches as I started this episode and I know my posture was atrocious!! Fixed it quickly and as always loved your updates. Beautiful projects!!
I'm super, super, SUPER sensitive to yarn against my skin (SW merinos are itchy, linen quill is unbearable, etc...) but Nightshades by Harrisville is the one yarn I tolerate the better, and by far ! It was quite rough when knitting it as you mentioned, but it softened incredibly with washing and now the sweater I've made with it is my comfort garment. It's sturdy and lightweight yet soft as a cloud 🥰 I hope you'll have the same good experience as me !
Happy to find your TH-cam channel! I have picked up some great tips from your instagram posts. I love to test knit, but I’m taking a break to work through my own projects…too many WIPs
Hi Andrea, thanks for your videos, I always enjoy them so much. Can I ask you for advice? I love knitting, but starting getting back pain, and two years ago I bought a stressless chair. Initially my back was better. However, three months ago I injured my back, and MRI showed two slipped disks in the lumbar area. I have sciatica in my left leg. I have PT sessions every week, and first it got a bit better, but now it is getting worse. I have the feeling that my stressless chair is not good for me any more. Do you know anything about them? Any suggestions? I do exercises in the morning and in the evening, but the pain in my leg is getting worse. And I do not want to stop knitting. Thanks!

Hello! Something this specific is better suited to a virtual ergonomic consult, or to ask your in person PT.
