Doing the CV Fab intake, charge pipes, and Fenfab V2 on my 2025 here shortly. Not ready for the headache but ready to get it done. Just did the 3” thermal and it sounds so good.
Talked with CVF 2 weeks ago, they have more charge pipes coming with BOV options soon, as well as they hinted they will also have an intake for the ST in the works for early next year. Thanks for the install video to help people tackle this job!
Man I did the hot side pipes in my 2023 about a month ago, and they are awesome. While yes they flow better they also remove a ton of joints, and plastic that could potentially fail once it heat cycles and becomes brittle. The best benefit I noticed…. You can hear the turbos spool. It’s not loud it’s just right. It’s loud enough that I can hear it over the thermal exhaust with cv fan down pipes, but it’s only at part throttle wide open you can’t really hear it anymore……
Solid question! So on the 2020 and some 2021s they came from ford with an oem bypass valve on the hotside charge pipe which you could take off and replace with a blow off valve. The reason you could not use the version cvfab offers with the BOV on the later 2021s and 2022-2025 is the bovs are electronically operated. In short term you just don’t have the connector on the explorer to control the BOVs on the 22-25s….So you have to get one that’s vacuum operated and T it into the system like what fenfab offers. I’ll be releasing a video over fenfabs charge pipe with BOV on it next week, where I install it on a 2025

Just emailed them about their possible intake kit and update. Like to get a whole kit from just one company. Pending the design of it also.

Glad to hear they are more audible with the upgrade.. a great little intangible benefit :-)
@_Johnny.B.Goode_ something is something let’s hope that they will be tunable soon 😅
@@HoustonSpeedFreakswill I need a mini electric ratchet to access the clamp on coupler closest on passenger turbo? It’s tight!
Thanks for getting this installed for me and helping my 2025 run even better now! Can't wait to keep adding more and more Go Fast parts :)
Do u kno if u losse warranty by doings all this to the 2025
Thanks for the tutorial, planning on installing this kit on my 2022 next summer, would you recommend using a BOV or to keep it w/o?
So why couldn't you do the BOV version of the charge pipes on the 2025? I didn't quite understand.

Do you know if cvfab is going to offer the cold side with a bov for 22+ or is fenfab pretty much the only option for the foreseeable future?
