Into the 1940's, Dick Powell wanted to break the typecasting of a singer, dancer and romancer in musicals, which themselves were falling a bit out of favor. He turned to drama, film noir and, later, television in such roles in the 1950's. His "Four-Star Productions" was a success, making a number of early TV hits.

What is strangely evident in this movie is the international cooperation among decent people with shared values of justice. This is sadly lacking today.

Another great Dick Powell movie and it is a shame that won't happen today.

Super. Not often I sit through an hour and three quarters of movie without getting bored and fidgety. Powell excellent as so often, and great supporting cast. Thank you very much!

This is a very good well produced film!! A restoration one day would do it justice.

    Quality Movie. Thank You.
Imagine a World where Integrity and decency were prevalent.
Isn't that what it takes to stand up
    to greed and corruption?
Once those values are lost by the
majority, its very hard to regain them.

Supposedly 1935, still haven't stopped the trade 90 yrs later, and it's probably bigger than ever.

Between allowing Leftists to teach our youth & unfettered immigration
The nations culture has shifted from its core values
... the nations got problems that a 1 term president can't fix... take more then a decade & most don't even see the tragedy that has engulfed a once proud republic...

Quite intricate, but then it would be based on true life events. I did discover one thing though & it has me wondering which came first, The film title or the good old number (song) To The Ends of the Earth. That's worth a listen to.

I stay out of the way of both the crime gangs and the government agents supposedly there to stop them. **In practice, it's like watching two biker gangs fight it out.

Wow! Such an awful truth: there ARE too many Shu Phan's in this evil world. Take Sean Diddy Combs, for instance ~ a real menace.

Dreadful movie. Love the movies from this era, but this thing was endless, drawn out and awful.
