As a Dane reading all the wonderful comments about one of our biggest groups in our music history, it warms my heart, even though Laban didn't achieve the international success they set out to reach, the band name is the danish word for rascal, and at the time in the 80s they were kind of the rascal of the danish music scene with that polished pop/synth-pop style. Back in the 80s almost no one else could brag about the level of success and popularity as this band could here in Denmark, I happened to become a small part of it as a radio DJ after the danish broadcast monopoly was broken by law to open up the market, which almost immediately flooded and saturated the broadcast market with a bunch of local radio stations of which the one i worked at was just one. SO happy to have lived as a young man during that time period with all it gave us.

I just discovered this band. I grew up in the 80s, but our govt was always banning or filtering foreign stuff. I can't believe I never knew of this band's existence until now! >:( This song and 'Love in Siberia' are fantastic. Plus Ivan's voice is ridiculously spectacular. These songs are an excellent embodiment of the magic of the 80s. The nostalgia... pls come back & stay, 80s. I wish this band had gotten more recognition & success.
