Hiccups aside, the AI voices - especially Duran - salvage some of the hackier writing big time. Duran's voice unironically adds a lot of character to his lines, making them feel very distinct from Kerrigan's original dialogue

I must have slipped into another dimension. Last time I checked, the Protoss were defending the zerg against the terrans and Aldaris left Tassadar to be overrun which soon lead to him becoming the Overmind's hybrid.
And also that his best friend Praetor Fenix protested Aldaris' decision and then abandoned the Sons of Aiur for good, forming Fenix's Phoenixes in the process.
Also that the James Raynor defied the will of the Confederate and their representative, Judge Dukem, allied himself with the Ghosts and their leader Kerrigan, also known to the Condeferate as the "Fallen ones" before ramming the Hyperion into the Overmind
I think you meant sorrounded by the terrans and tassadar become dgged tassadar and basically it's permanent and become one of the ghosts

I'm sure it has been said a hundred times, and I damn myself by doing so, but I find Kerrigan's voice to be oddly unchanged. It is as if "Concubine of the Zerg"'s voice actor played out all of those lines herself back in 1998. Ahh, but only time will tell...
Duran's voice is great too. Different from the original in some ways, but that's mainly reflective of his different personality.

More of Kerrigan and Artanis, please. You nailed their voices really really well by now and I was always sorry that I won't hear any new lines from those two. Might be fun to make a video of the two just casually chatting behind the scenes, like two actors who are chilling off the set.
Though I can imagine the training lines wouldn't allow too much of the "casual" tone. Still, can't wait for more lines. Thanks for making these, Nral. You revived Starcraft in a way Blizzard never could.
4:58 i like that Draliska isn't just worried only about Duran, but he also worries about the rest of the brood down there, not like that terran marshall called: Simp Raynor
In fact, in the original SC1 campaign, Raynor did say "you're not just gonna leave *them* ?" But in the SC2 cinematic it got changed to "her." SC2 truly took the simping to a whole different level.
So I’m thinking next campaign we’ll have a “Greetings Executor, I am Tassadar and I too am a Executor serving the Conclave.. We have detected a small Zerg brood near by that could threaten the stasis chamber.”
I'll steer the Norad II into a collision course with the Conclave and bring Swift death to the accursed alien politics

i just cant help but imagine taking this to the fullest extreme possible and an SC2 sequel where in 4 years after the ending of the Brood Wars, Draliska is longingly looking at a photo of Duran. "it aint over 'till it's over, you bitch!" *spits on flesh TV*
I don't even know how convoluted the Heart of the Templar campaign would be. Duran gets re-infested and partially de-Protossed through some ancient Amon artifact. This somehow makes him come to his senses. Then he gets examined in a lab by... Kerrigan's daughter? Maybe just an adopted daughter, vampire style? Infested Hanson might fit the role.
I don't even know what the Protoss version of Zerus is. The Tal'darim homeworld maybe? There he gets re-de-Zergified, or maybe goes full shapeshifter. And then he meets Hybrid Dehaka.
@@maxmichalik4938 Considering she took over the Zerg in canon, the Valerian stand-in would probably be Zagara. As for Protoss!Zerus... Maybe Slayn and the Tal'darim could stand in for Zerus and the Primals.

Once again I have to give so much credit to UED commander for revising these maps and expanding them. (also the enem actually fights eachother, unlike vanilla SC ;)
I'm kinda imagining what would play out if the Protoss were to defend hostile Terrans against the Zerg.

Ah, just as I expected
In another universe:
The Terrans are jumping into orbit over Aiur and bombarding the Conclave's forces and looting, etc.
Tassadar and Zeratul and Executor Artanis are to hold the line over Antioch as the Zerg swarms into the area, no doubt drawn by the Psionic Matrix and Terran activities. And because they're being led by Kerrigan who used to be a Terran but got infested by the Zerg and is now seeking revenge against the Terrans for leaving her there or something.
The objective is to destroy the Zerg forces there while not destroying any of the Terran structures.
Then comes the big reveal.
Adjutant: Receiving incoming transmission:
Zeratul: This is Zeratul. We've neutralized the Zerg, but there's a wave of Terrans advancing on this position. Recall us back to the Carrier.
Raszagal: Belay that order. We are warping out.
Tassadar: What? You're not just gonna leave him?
Raszagal: All ships prepare for dimensional recall from Aiur on my signal.
Zeratul: Executor? How about that recall?
Tassadarr: Adun curse you, Raszagal! Don't do this.
Raszagal: It's done. Phasesmith, signal the fleet, and take us out of orbit. Now!
Zeratul: Executor? Tassadar? What in Adun's name is going on up there?

My guess is that he will either be an archon hero which would be absurdly busted or a high Templar. I would prefer archon to make him a more unique unit.
