The perfect example of a player that could dictate the pace of a game and slow it down when he wanted to and deliver that killer ball when he saw it...was Tugay at Blackburn. Fergie said he would have signed him if he was 10 years younger. Tugay was in his 30s at the time, so not viable for Utd. Those old enough to remember might agree that he was a budget version of the older Luka Modric at Madrid, not the Spurs one that could run. Superb for Rovers and we will probably never see a player of that quality again at the club.
To be real its not the players, it is on manager. Forest is 3rd, you telling me they have better players than united. Men saying noe every teams have better players than us, thats bs. Men like rants, moosa were saying we have no worse squad than liverpool arsenal at the start of season. A manager needs to be able to get the best out of his players. It dont make sense we need go replace the hole team. Its like a good teacher can only get results if he has a new class of students. Amorin is not the man. I am sorry.
