- Join me as I take you on a little shopping trip in Waupaca, WI. After touring some amazing shops, I decided to hit up a local Goodwill on my way home. I'll also be showing you my Thrift Haul!! If you make your way to Waupaca, WI I would highly recommend hitting up the shops that I mentioned in the video. I will also have the descriptions below. I not only had a fun day of shopping with my mom but found some great items to put in my booth and to decorate my home!

I collect Vintage Bundt Pans myself 😊 I have some hung above my sliding glass doors off of my dining room. I have pitched ceilings in my home, so there is plenty of room 😜 I displayed them to resemble the very popular wall basket displays that are super hot right now and in everyone's homes 😁❣️
You went to 2 of my favorite shops. I love Loot, I always say if I had a shop I want it to be like Loot. Waupaca has a great flea market on Sundays in the summer. I always find great stuff there. Love those 2 great baskets.
I am glad you were able to make good use of my coupon! I know it would be hard to do back to back but…Cranfest in Warrens is my favorite. It is hard because all the good shows are in September/October.
The decanters are awesome‼️ They sell super well for me in my area but are hand to come across.

Oh my 😲 The displays and the pieces in the little shop Loot were absolutely breathtaking 😍 I am from Upstate NY and you can not find shops like that around here! Even though I had never thought of traveling to Wisconsin, I am now putting Loot on my bucket list ❣️
Loved the amazing haul and the stores you shopped. Another idea for your chair seat is to cover the seat board with padding and leather. I remember seeing this technique on vintage chairs. Otherwise I think

On the chair missing the seat you could put a flower pot inside it and sit in in your yard!

As usual a great haul. Would love to go to any of the places you go to but I’m on the other side of the country.
The chair would have had a caned bottom, but fabric covered wood would be pretty too.

The white hobnail opalescent bowl looks like it might be Fenton
I have the two wire containers. I spray painted black and wrapped twine around the tops and set them on the back of my stove top for salt and pepper and small vases with seasonal sprigs

Enjoyed the video. Wisconsin has the greatest thrifting. I'm going to see if there are any GW bin stores between Iron River and GreenBay. Looks like I may be traveling down there in February. If I don't find one on the way, I am going to look in Appleton, I know there is at least one. I think my favorite find would be the baskets. Love to decorate with baskets.
The shop is beautiful!!! They have so many great finds. I would be broke in a hurry. It would be awesome if you had an entire shop of your own. The metal legs you found will be so nice in a table or bench. Hopefully that evil virus that has haunted us for too long will calm down very soon. It's bad in our area right now. I'm so ready to thrift again!!!
You should paint antiquing wax on the gold clock just to make it look antique or brassy.

If the oak chair you bought had had a groove around the seat it would have been fairly easy to replace with a sheet of cane but this seat appears to have been hand woven with strips of caning material. Much more difficult and expensive to have done. Nice chair.
Mrs Ben here, thanks for sharing! It's fun to see what is in the Midwest! You find cooler stuff than I do in Southern Oregon. Those legs would look great attached to the larger suitcase and it could be storage plus an end table???

Your divided glass dish is called Moonstone from Anchor Hocking dating back to the 1940s. I have glasses in the exact same patterned glass pitcher that you found. You found so many really good pieces at great prices - so many things I was saying - yes I would have grabbed that! Thanks for sharing your fun.

You were in my neck of the woods! I didn't watch far enough before. You did go to Antiques on Main, one of our favorites. I haven't been to Loot, I will have to go check it out. We also love the Country Store. Looks like they have redone the displays since we were in there last. Always enjoy your videos.

Loved watching your haul and seeing what u pd for each item ! Would love if u could tell us what u would price it at in your shop to help us have an idea what to price our hauls at as well . This is a struggle I have figuring out prices . It would be super helpful to have a gage 😊
Hi there Sonnet! You always find such great things when you thrift...I'm jealous! Your little brush is a "whisk broom;" we've had several of them over time. I have a chair similar to the one you just found. You can re-cane it if you want to it was probably like that in the first place. You can buy sheet caning if you're interested in doing that. I think I'm going to put a covered board on mine and screw it on from the bottom like you suggested. Thanks for sharing!
Oh, no! Don't paint the suitcases. They are beautiful as is. If painted I would not buy them but would buy them as is
I was thinking the same. Those are beautiful, in my area the traincase would go for 40. Find one in not great shape to paint.

Hello from Wentzville, MO. If you haven’t tried it yet I would like to recommend “Briney Mary” made by Pittsburgh Pickle Company. I have to order online as I cannot find it local. I find your videos very inspiring.
The tech school used to have classes on caning for The chair seat. The brush looks like it was for shoe polishing. Great haul!

My mom always called it cane webbing when she was doing those chairs. She wood soak the cane before she started the webbing. I remember it was tedious work for certain designs. That was 50-60 years ago. I'm sure there's an easier way to do it now though.
Enjoyed seeing the little shops and all the goodies! You got some great things. Went to one of my dirty Goodwill Stores today and was very disappointed in items and how much they have raised prices.
