My favorite so far was their limited golden edition! My sister bought the limited golden crate for my birthday! Sad they don’t make these anymore

I have the birthday cake ones at the moment and was debating whether to get cookies and cream or chocolate sundae. I think cookies and cream wins, thanks a lot So helpful

Off topic, but then again not (protein bars); if you haven’t tried Barebells new - the Rocky road marshmallow one - I recommend it. Especially since I know you liked the “Holiday” bar from them ☺️❤️

About your comment on maltitol: maltitol does NOT have the same glycemic index as Sugar:
GI index Maltitol = 35
GI index sugar = 65
So it is definitely a much better choice than sugar and for a “normal” low carb diet it could be used in moderation. But indeed not suitable for a keto diet.

Sorry, we did not mean that it has the same GI index as sugar, but just that it raises blood sugar (as opposed to other sweeteners that don’t). Maltitol syrup has almost the same GI index as sugar (52).
Our main message here is that we would prefer other sweeteners over maltitol 😅

The protein makes it dry, can’t expect it to taste like normal chocolate bars lol. The more protein content, the worse it tastes.
Never expected it to taste like a chocolate bar lol. Done a lot of protein bar taste tests. These were more dry than normal.
