All the countries people mention for not using English like China, Japan, Germany have made their own language as a medium for their science literature. How many books do we have in the field of science, finance, engineering and medicine in our regional languages? They're almost non existent. So we should learn English for the sake of studying such fields. We should value skill over language proficiency. At the same time in our current scenario we've to adapt accordingly too.

Because we have been conditioned for years that English is superior may be because there were different mediums in educational system. But art is above all this. True artist don’t mind being themselves.
There is a cause. We have so many regional languages like mine is Bengali and we don't have any national language. So unlike any other non English speaking country we can not use a particular language to communicate with everyone. There are no such thing as Indian language like Chinese and you can not even make any language as national language cause no language can be superior than others and others won't accept it.

I don’t know for someone lacking in English - his delivery is so smooth, like there are not many um, ah, other fillers etc.. he’s a great speaker inherently!
We use um, ah ect. Because we try to speak perfect and sophisticated English and don't focus on communication, Pankaj ji is expected that his English will not be good and then also speaks in English that makes him look genuine and cute and if he does speaks good English then everyone praise him on other hand average people who live in city and studied in English speaking schools(although we all speak in regional language there) we are expected to speak good English and if we are unable then u all know judgemental society. This is the main reason we don't have smooth delivery.
Such a supportive family he has. His wife sitting with him, helping him out but not showing herself on the screen. No problem if she comes in but she just wanting him to go solo but being a pillar sitting next to him without gaining any attention on screen is just pure unconditional love❤

Pankaj ji is speaking wonderful English. This idea of being less skilled in language is colonial hangover that Britishers sowed roots of and we have carried it as a status symbol. Even traditional English speakers often do grim grammatical errors. I live in USA and have noted it many times. Pankaj ji is speaking with no grammatical errors at all. We as a society have just undermined non English speakers in way that make them under confident. They are better because they are bi and multilingual. Pankaj ji speaks such amazing Hindi that many native English speakers can’t even dream of in their native English language. Hats off to OSR to be respectful as well!!

I don’t know for someone lacking in English - his delivery is so smooth, like there are not many um, ah, other fillers etc.. he’s a great speaker inherently!
IKR!!?? He spoke effortlessly in parts it was hard to tell he was even trying and he DEFINITELY spoke better than 90% of Bollywood 👏
He is adding fillers. Hindi fillers between sentences. Secondly being a theatre actor his delivery will be smooth.
We use um, ah ect. Because we try to speak perfect and sophisticated English and don't focus on communication, Pankaj ji is expected that his English will not be good and then also speaks in English that makes him look genuine and cute and if he does speaks good English then everyone praise him on other hand average people who live in city and studied in English speaking schools(although we all speak in regional language there) we are expected to speak good English and if we are unable then u all know judgemental society. This is the main reason we don't have smooth delivery.
He's probably the only actor with no haters.
I know right! He is a genuine man, super humble, and talented.

Such a supportive family he has. His wife sitting with him, helping him out but not showing herself on the screen. No problem if she comes in but she just wanting him to go solo but being a pillar sitting next to him without gaining any attention on screen is just pure unconditional love❤

Pankaj ji is speaking wonderful English. This idea of being less skilled in language is colonial hangover that Britishers sowed roots of and we have carried it as a status symbol. Even traditional English speakers often do grim grammatical errors. I live in USA and have noted it many times. Pankaj ji is speaking with no grammatical errors at all. We as a society have just undermined non English speakers in way that make them under confident. They are better because they are bi and multilingual. Pankaj ji speaks such amazing Hindi that many native English speakers can’t even dream of in their native English language. Hats off to OSR to be respectful as well!!
