- The South African Police Service (SAPS) in the Eastern Cape has launched an Extortion Hotline in Mthatha, in an attempt to gather information, and gauge the extent of the problem of so-called protection fees in the province.

Citizens need crime hotlines throughout the country. All ministries involved in crime prevention must come on board to deal with crime before it's too lat n SA looses fight to criminals. Home Affairs, Justice n NPA must do their part. Labour n Employment must ensure employers n businesses employ SAfricans ti half unemployment. Foreigners must be halfed in numbers. Their presence in SA is now challenge. All countries take responsibility for its citizens. Enough n is enough now.
