I used to hike along the remains of mounds in southern Ohio, some of the fragments of the Hopewell people's works. It's a really awesome thing to get a feel for just how huge the walls they built up where, when you're hiking alongside them for miles.
It's funny to think that the USA is something like a baby country compared to the ones in Europe, Africa and Central/South America. My country, Brazil, is just starting to discover it's history before the arrival of the portugueses in 1500 and it's clear that we had some influence from the mayas and Incas.

Red Horn looks like my Uncle shot out from Hardin Valley Tennessee and in my family history we fought with the French against the English and Cherokee so my Question is who are we wasn't slaves we owned land or Colonized it whichever you prefer who are the Hardin's if I check any of those family history sites they say my family was white but we got Pictures like the one on my profile and we owned land before the Generation before me sold to make subdivisions and cash themselves out now there dead and the new generation thinks there African and has no history here History has been changed great video my guy
you should get a DNA test and either confirm or rule out your questions/suppositions. african and indian genes should be easily identified. if you are right you should do a genealogy study on your family and also record all stories you can get from living members before they are gone forever.
