  • Who else wants the summer back? 🌞🌞
Getting a tad fed up with the darkness, though I think it will feel better once it's nearer to Yule.
Anyway this was back in August, on my birthday to be precise and in the usual ice house enjoying the mega acoustics ❤️
All the songs are ones we do at my singing group, mainly rounds and trad. call and response songs (eg. John Kanaka)
    A couple of songs from ‪@JuliaHartley‬ 🙏
And also featuring my sis ‪@AlisaMarie‬
    🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I'm a folk singer based in Nottingham, England and also known as The Bread Witch for my Community Bread Baking project 🍞🥖

@@EatBakeSing So true, I remember watching the build that bridge when I was about seven. My wifes family were brought up in Stainby, they had a cottage behind the old mill. Happy days! You take care.

@ oh gosh Stainsby mill. Yes very sad re motorway. My mum remembers when it first opened (the 60s?) and people were literally having picnics on the central reservation!!

@@EatBakeSing If you look to the left of the pay machine near the visitor centre you can see the old road, which went up to the church in heath. Yes things were much quieter then. My auntie worked for both the old Duchess (who lived in the hall), and the Hardwick Inn during the 1930s and fourties....

❤ my home always calls me back through your songs. I miss England, I'll be back in 12 months among my own tribe. I've travelled the world, live in Australia but I left my heart in Yorkshire with my ancestors

Haha, yes it would be nice to have the sun back. November and December, the two worst months for me. Dark with thick low lying cloud for two months. Anyway, thanks for all the lovely songs. Love the one that starts at 2:17.

I heard that before in my life and I was much younger. It was the father of the daughter who was a soprano in choir where my mother also was part of.

Thank you for this video showing an interesting selection from your repertoire. Your audience are no doubt, hungry for more. There is a bridge across the Thames, known as 'The Sounding Arch'. I would love to hear you there. Meanwhile, I shall take a look at your website and other info.

@@EatBakeSing Not far from London, Maidenhead. It carries the the main line from Paddington. You would have to sing between trains crossing, which would be interesting, but the acoustics are good.
