Just wanted to share my humble opinion , the irumudi ceremony with guruswamy and all family memebers and the entire troupe and also doing padi poojai aat home and anadhanam after that enhances the experience to a different level and going as a group singing ayyapan songs and chants and finally going to sanidhi and getting a glimpse of ayyapan is agoosebumps moment!
My feeling is that removing this process will dilute the entire experience and also irumudi should be kept on the head most of the times and not on shoulders, probably these things are not strictly adhered to these days but when taken with complete Bhakti the experience is really divine and unbeatable !! These are just my opinions and thoughts!! Probably you would be normally doing that way and did this just for the Vlog sake but wanted to put this thought out there so someone could take on it that’s all.. 🙏🏽🙏🏽 Saranam Ayappa!!
