      There is about 1 minute of footage of me screaming like a little girl before I poured the white soap because I didn't have any white melted, so I have to quickly melt some down. There is only a tiny window of time because it would not have been doable after that. Thankfully I made it in time.

    • @DeanWilson

    Looks great!! I am a CP soaper but love the effects that melt and pour soapers come up with. I do add melt and pour embeds to some of my soaps but that has been the extent of my melt and pour background. It is not as easy as people think to work with melt and pour soap and my hats off to all of you melt and pour soapers!!!

    • @DeanWilson
      @DeanWilson  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you and my hat is off to all CP soap makers. I am in the process of learning CP before I jump in, but it looks a lot harder then M&P. Time will tell, but looking forward to the process. :)

    • @craftlover9702
      @craftlover9702 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I did a lot of reading and studying before making CP soap. I've been CP soaping about 9 years and there is still always something new to learn as with any hobby. Biggest thing is making sure to take the proper precautions when working with lye, work with good oils and enjoy the journey!!

    Ocean Rain would be a great fragrance to add. I did a soap very similar to this. To mine I added some white Lake Michigan sand to the beige sea floor and while the bottom was still a bit soft I put a small white sea shell in an upright position. Then poured my light blue "water" over it from higher up so that I would get some air bubbles, which I think mimics the look of water. I did the top with a touch of white, as you have done as well. I love your idea of a submarine! :) A sunken ship, some tiny fish, a whale, etc. work look good too.

    • @DeanWilson

    coffee grounds are a great exponent for the skin so that is a tip also I think that you can use a suspension base to carry any kind of additives like charcoal as well as any other things that you want to suspend in your soap.

  • @cassandrawinget7772
    @cassandrawinget7772 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    This turned out very nice! I use the technique of letting the skin form on top of the cooling soap too. I find that if you poke a hole opposite the side you are pouring from the soap pours out very nicely without the skin falling in.
