Hello, I have a doubt, if you put a piece of that same spring instead of the copper piece, so that Haci acts as a spring Believe it will increase?
I put a spring rail mechanism and air tube from a air venturi John Wayne gun in my red Ryder because it has rollers on the mechanism but you can not use a daisy spring on the air venturi spring rail mechanism pluss you got to cut about a half inch off the air tube and just a tad off the rail mechanism were the pin goes through the seal I have a 1/2 inch spacer and washer in it to make it a little hotter than a red Ryder spring in between that and a 327 spring in power the air venturi guns already have a over bored air tube so it worked out great lol just been trying crazy things like that on air guns about 40 plus years lol

@@blackbarrelcustoms3704 well that's not my thing jumping through TH-cam hoops and does and don't s lol I have site my wife finally talked me into she's been trying for 16 or 18 years to get me to do something like that so this past year I told her open me a Facebook site so she did it's called viking hawk forge . That's me Mike j best. Terry is my 75 year old momma I'm 53 lol lol

@@observantservant2135 it's just something I do for me and my friends and family not a business been doing work on old air guns most my life since about 6 and half to 7 to now I'm 53 year. Old and a stay at home dad. So when I got the money I spend it or find old metal build custom knives some times work on a Harley for my dads club what ever need done lol lol

What about 327 cobalt super spring with 7/64 ID tube air and added Tophatter 1/4 without carbon fiber tube. How many fps ? I don’t have test chronograph so will you do?

Jonathan I was just wondering if you had problems with the back of the plunger assembly with the top hat in there to try to break that loose or anyting
While it does seat very well. I tend to give the bushing a rocking back and forth motion to remove it. Keep me posted please I may have to add another step before shipping if this fits to tight for certain models. I'm not sure of any variances in models throughout the years. If by chance it's too tight on the rear. Maybe you could flip it to the front side. I hope this helps George. Apologies for any delay in comments.

My 2021 1938ARR came with 3 nuts. How much does the cocking effort increase with the spacer installed?
Not too bad. Maybe a pound or so more. 🤔 not like a 327 spring. I can say that

@@blackbarrelcustoms3704 What does the carbon fiber shot tube do for it? Does it increase accuracy or something? Just curious because I might want to do that.
My wife set up my site she been bugging me for years to show people so this past year or so ago I told her yeh go ahead take a few pictures of some of my stuff I do and build so she did it for me I know nothing about technology lol I'm old school all the way she makes very good money and we have a disabled son I been taking care of you seen him on my site his name is John best and he's my youngest I have girls from 36 down to 23 now I think lol and piles of grand children To some times I don't have much time but when I do I build and customize any kind of old guns lol yes my name is Mike best Terry is my mother how I started out when I was about 7 was building copy models of bolt action guns minis but my aunt gave me a 102 I painted it took it apart as much as I could cleaned it all and put new coat on it then my dad got me a western auto golden eagle model 1000 was the first one I took all the way apart and put two washers behind the spring with the help of my grandfather Pat trigg navy battleship commander or beldon h trigg they called him pat though that is the facts I got the 102 for killing birds in a fig tree that's why she gave it to me but I'm not a business if I got a bunch of people wanting to pay me I would turn it into a business maybe 🤔 but I just love doing it in my spare time now day's I do give them away some times ask Ozark air gun hunter or walnut and steel mr nibs I know his name but he prolly don't want me to say but Cedric is a very good friend of mine and nibs I have sent both of them cool guns from my collection lol
All you airgunners shoot your Daisys point blank range at the chronograph, because 2 yards back would result in a lower reading...oh dear!
