Coats, rain and umbrellas - not the typical clothing and weather most happy-snappers think about going out in, yet it is at precisely these time that some of the best, most atmospheric lighting conditions can suddenly appear. This is why Joe and Colin's pictures are so evocative, so full of emotion and so bloody good; they go out knowing they may now get something, but hoping and planning for it. They are not sat in font of the TV or even a roaring log fire with a pint, they are out there. Gentleman, I salute you.
Wonderful insightful commentary to fabulous vistas. The highlight is Joe’s zig-zag image. Those folds and the russet tones are stunning. I love Colin’s image in the woodland. It’s an honest representation of our winter woodland. Also beautiful is Joe’s image of the droplets gleaming on the bare branches. So much to enjoy. Thank you.
Compulsive viewing which I have watched more than once. Hope there is more episodes to come from other locations. Thank you Sigma for making all three episodes possible. Skye next?
This has been such an enjoyable series to watch. Reminds me of an excellent week at Mellon Charles with Joe Cornish and others c.2013. One of my first serious introductions to landscape photography, with critical points of learning I still look to. You have to take your own photographs. I’m better with details than the bigger picture. The light is everything.
Thoroughly enjoyed all 3 episodes and I hope there is a follow up series..... Mortimer and Whitehouse now have serious competition for some must watch Sunday evening viewing!!
This should be made into a TV series and have these two travel around the UK to different spots Northumberland, Lake District, Peak District, Wales, Ireland ect they have a great chemistry and banter Ps is it only me who cringes when they see Joe's tripod head cover swinging madly in the wind like a wind sock underneath his tripod 🥴
I can watch them talk all day long. Wonderfull series sigma. Thank you!
Stunning series Sigma UK. More please :)

" And I think to myself "
You should fly me over to show these geezers how i's done.
Disappointing. Joe is a genius who has a hard time explaining what he does and that video did not help
