Kick just patched the website so any streamer on Kick will be able to completely block the gambling so their viewers don't go over to the gambling just willy nilly. if I was streaming on Twitch, I would seriously consider Kick, but I really don't know about the 95/5 income split it just seems to good to be true. Once mixer failed and all of the big creators moved back to twitch, twitch no longer wanted to pay the doc. So they made up a guidelines violation to permanently ban him so they wouldn't have to pay him. doc most likely sued them for breach of contract.

As interest rates rise, unemployment increases, general economic picture looks less rosy, there's less borrowing, less money for businesses to spend on advertising and less disposable cash from viewers, meaning less advertising revenue, fewer donations and fewer subscriptions. Even given US natural resources, wholesale energy prices, including electricity are inflating at the highest rate in decades. So twitch is going to have to do something to combat all of that. I would imagine the economic picture as a whole is going to have a bigger impact on twitch than Doc's settlement.

Nevertheless again I believe he snitches on his self yet again by indicating the tough task of trying to explain what happened to these big name game developers... Of whom, associating with a gamer accused of such a case is absolutely a red flag for them from a business perspective...
So that's my judgment, sorry I got tired of the mystery. And zlaner has been accused of this exact same setup and there's even a clip where he literally explains his multi monitor setup featuring wallhacks on a seperare monitor etc, so doc spent too much time with him most likely. I frankly don't care if he simply put the hacks away I'm good, we all make mistakes and many of uslong term gamers including me (*I didn't get banned but my best friend did get VACd* prompting me to decide it wasn't worth it) have tried out hacks at some point, to impress others, nevertheless it's worse to get caught than to simply apologize.

so yeah its just a rampant thing in pc gaming especially with players who aren't naturally world class but still want to impress, so I am just saying I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case. Many twitch streamers with less brain cells and less capable tech have gotten pretty far before their hacks finally got caught resulting in permanent bans from twitch.

The bathroom thing could have been their “official” reason for the ban, it’s not why they banned him permanently. We’ll never know why, but I agree with most that it had something to do with contracts. It’s incredibly odd they banned him AFTER Mixer shut down. Dude probably signed something BIG, then Mixer shut down, and then Twitch decided to ban him so they don’t have to pay out. Once they needed a reason due to the lawsuit, they said it was the bathroom thing. Considering the year of being on Twitch after the fact, and everything I just said, Dr probably would have won big time. So, they settled.

dude got banned on twitch, and immediately shut up about it, and started a lawsuit. Either A, he's got a legit reason, and the suit will play out or they'll settle, or B, he did something super wrong, got caught, and won't say why because it will cause irreparable harm to his image.
For those who don't know, he's already sued twitch. The outcome was a settlement was made and part of the agreement both parties released a statement saying there was no wrong doing. Doc said there was no wrong doing so twitch wasn't affected negatively, and twitch said there was no wrong doing so it'd be easier to get back sponsors and whatnot.
If it's truly no fault then he can stream on twitch too.

Even given US natural resources, wholesale energy prices, including electricity are inflating at the highest rate in decades. So twitch is going to have to do something to combat all of that. I would imagine the economic picture as a whole is going to have a bigger impact on twitch than Doc's settlement.
