This has to be a work in progress because most levels in the game are either not finished or just straight up the same levels from mania but the good stuff that's original and new and finished was really good hope they can do the same for rest of the levels in the game
Sonic mania is the one of sonic games that doesnt really support mods. Like you cant make custom bosses, custom enemeys and features. And also sonic mania is a fast game, like you can complete it in 1 hour
Some people have made custom features for the game in the past, and Sonic Mania recently got decompiled, so it will be way easier to code custom stuff for it now.
Impressive, but... why use the old sprites and not the higher color, newer ones? Especially since they had to modify them to include the new animations anyway... At least Carnival Night, Ice Cap, and Launch Base all have the correct music, though.
