People use to hate this anime at the beginning but slowly they all fall in love with Black Clover
Because it was a trash naruto clone that took queues from all the successful anime. It eventually got good. Just like one piece supposedly gets good. If you can suffer through the beginning

i really liked the story and mechanical world building but gahdamn the animation couldve used more love... like A LOT.
I stopped watching when the 1 chap of the anime went out because Asta was annoying, but some weeks later I gave it another chance and it became one of my favorite animes. I'm a shojo girl but Black Clover is for all the preferences
I don't like the shows with lots of shouting and Black Clover was in that list of dislikes. But, after watching a few episodes, I became interested and interested and interested and it became my most favorite anime of all times.

@@dragonballz3458 the movie is pseudo-canon, basically it retroactively has been added but is still canon by the creators words. Looking at asta in this i would imagine it picks up some time after the timeskip. So watching to 158 should be fine

@@thapple8183 depends on if the author shows a cameo or mention, my guess is that he's waiting for the movie to drop before that, I believe he'll handle it proper though , he did it good for the Magna and luck side story and the yuno novel.

it was always the plan to continue the series. they just decided to take a break on it since the anime was getting close to the manga so they would't have to make fillers or slow the pace of the anime to stall for time. the Black Clover anime will return in the future as sure as it is that Asta will eventually become the Wizard King :D

Hopefully, after this movie, netflix gets the streaming rights of the show, as the contact that has it exclusively on crunchyroll should expire this year I'm pretty sure.

This is the best news of the year. I just recently finished watching all 170 episodes of black clover. Was so saddened, that the show left off at a turning point for Asta and the gang. I so want the series to return. Not sure why a show of this caliber was dropped. Way better then half the crap out there passing itself off as something worth watching. Black clover so underrated, but anyone who picks up watching the anime will not be disappointed in the series (Even though its incomplete). Why do all the good ones die so young. Just like "Hunter X Hunter". I am glad this movie is coming out. Hope this is a sign of more good things to come for the series.
Welcome to the Black Clover community, as someone who's been a fan since episode 1 here's the backsrory. When Black Clover first started in 2017, it received ALOT of hate for Asta voice and the poor animation. So, the anime was basically abandoned by episode 40, and the series was very nearly canceled. However, the anime staff for Black Clover who were understaffed and overworked saw the great potential and were the biggest fans of the series. So they worked overtime to make episode 49 of the underwater temple arc amazing, and their hard work literally saved the series. Due to episode 49, bringing in a lot of new viewers. So Black Clover that was supposed to be canceled in the 40s got renewed for another 50 episodes. Black Clover popularity slowly continued to grow from 2019 to 2021, especially when the Elves Invasion Arc began. That is what caused Black Clover popularity to skyrocket. More and more people started to realize how good Black Clover was then the Spade Kingdom War arc began, and that's what made Black Clover popularity explode worldwide. However, the anime had to stop at ep 170 because it caught up to the manga. However, now the manga is far, far ahead, so they decided to put out this movie to see if a lot of people will watch it in order to decide if they will bring the anime back in the future.
