The only non-online RPG I could keep replaying decades ago. The music, the setting and emotions, the characters, it all contributed to replay value even more so than the multiple endings. As I am older now this music triggers an onset of a trip down memory lane of that time that once was.
Cj Cuenca I’ve thought this before... there are a few really iconic and incredible stories that have been told on cartridges that a 15 year swing or when I was born would have potentially excluded me from. I’m sure other generations have things that are just as defining, but I can’t imagine life without having heard the 8/16 Bit revolution, the JRPG stories, or the music that came with them.

Not a remake . But a remaster would be nice . I'd love to see the world in 3d. Even on ps1 or 2 graphics . It's alot of work but I think if Final Fantasy vii remake achieves the high mark , then square will probably be remaking alot of old games .
