9:18 "I'm seeing double. Let's go have another one ... " Not sure it those ARE or ARE NOT wise words to live by in any situation, but it seemed to work out this time.
Those were fun games Ben. You know my job leads to me playing lots of too tired chess. I generaly play unrated chess then these days, less chance for cheating rage quitting etc. had some excellemt too too tired games reccently too. Thanks mate.
Ya, I'd love to get my chess discipline to a point where I can play at a decent level (70% accuracy) even when I'm absolutely on my arse. Right now it's hit-or-miss.
You know, the Grand Prix scores better for White at my level than the Morra, and as I said it features an f-pawn push, which is my happy place, so I'll stick with it I think.
Have you ever won a game, accepted a rematch, and then got your arse kicked? A few people have mentioned that phenomenon. So I now don't accept rematch requests out of principle.
@ ah I see, thanks. Yes, that has happened more than once to me. I never ask for rematches myself and I wonder why people do it if they have lost anyway. I suppose must be an element of rage/revenge in it even before you get to the possibility of cheating. Not a good vibe.
That last game was a beauty, the grand prix is quite something, nice seeing content from you Ben! Happy new year!
Thanks, I am enjoying it and seem to be doing okay.

Nicely done. No notes from me. :) Happy new year from the antipodes.
Happy New Year to everyone Down Under from me.
Nice games but not tempted by a return of the Smith Morra considering only a speedrun/entertainment account?

Rage cheating? What's that?
