A lot of you requested for making such a comparison so here we go. I hope you find it helpful and informative. Like I said previous weekend I find the rebalance to Storm and Gust too much. They only need a nerf in their accuracy in my opinion. I wouldn't like to see any change in their unload/reload mechanics. Feel free to write your opinions and ideas down below.
make shotguns 250m, machine guns 350m and rockets 500. Like real warfare it should have symmetry. and fix maps like yamantau and carrier and the targeting system first.
Actually I like this rebalance! It's a great move to fight with Orkans and cryo weapons! I use shotguns on my hangar, so I would love to get the update now, let's say why: the video shows that kill an entire enemy now it's double the time BUT in the first 3 seconds you make the double damage now, so I understand if you are newbie around here, but in tactic you are not going face to face to enemy, Brawlers going to understand, you need to take cover and move to sideways, NOT front enemy, so I now can run cover to cover and unload my entire clip, reload my clip again and keep that way! I use that tactic before pursuer was on game, I killed many lancelots with stalker piñatas ! Same tactic ! Now the new shotguns have the same mechanics of a burst type weapon! You guys stop complaining everything I didn't spend any money in game and dam! I was mad about top tier bots and pay users, but never realize I get premium bots already, I make 2 pursuers when workshop 2.0 was awesome, I win a Inquisitor on chest, then a falcon, (still unused) I win a strider on daily task (weak? Yeah sure.. it's my #1 killer, bot love it) I make a rayker, (love it x2) a kumiho came out from a chest, (not in use) when leech came out, the only way to get it was on pieces and guess what? I make like 8,000 pieces on chest, and 2000 on worshop, and recently I get a eldrich Ares from the last winter season ! You need patience to get stuff, the reason pay user get bored its because they buy all things maxed out and just play 3 months get bored and move on to other game, im here since "asura pinata" was a name and still having a lot of fun why? Because the game changes ! Otherwise it's not a challenge ! I LOVE SMASH PAY TO WIN USERS on clan they are kinda unbeatable but alone they are nothing MONEY CANT BUY TACTICS AND SKILLS U63WUD IOS a true gamer never lose, only get more XP, greeting from Mexico
@Laurence D well yeah maybe I get too agresive on my own point, didn't take the pay user point, but dude you already know when the first Nerf on game came out that the game was going to get changes Everytime they can, we already know pixonic are going to keep launching new bots, and new weapons, I love the game and I learned how to play with those changes, so why do you keep spending money? A single premium bot are like my entire week payload, and like I said premium users get bored of the game because that, you said it and confirm my own point, you are happy on the game because bought premium weapons when no one have them, and maxed out, now you are bored of the game because the new balance, see? You pay for them now you got bored and now probably quit the game or just gonna get angry about changes, still I'm gonna keep playing because every premium user it's a challenge for me, games were made for get challenges, maybe its not the main point of pixonic make a challenge game and only want more money, but at least for me its fun because I have to evolve with the game, I'm not so silly to spend money on a game were everybody already knows only wants to sell you more things, you just make the test bro put 3 gust on a pursuer, and see how much damage can make on 3 seconds, active ability and then you gonna see it's not bad at all, just now remember dont spend any more dollar on the game 👍🏻
@Laurence D mk2 5 it's already an awesome level dude, yeah I can understand the rage about change things but, it's his game bro and they are going too keep nerfing things, phantom it's a dominating bot now, and you are going to see phantoms with gust now, they are going to activate the ability, run in front of you because his defense points and on 3 seconds you are going to have 25% HP left, thats gonna be the new tactic on game, my advice? Don't spend money on game, I don't have clan, not spend money and still I'm on champions league and kinds hate it, I still remember playing against Cossacks and boas, lol those games were the best, so don't spend money dude and patience they are going to nerf cryo weapons when new weapons came out 🙄
They really don't have a plan. Because if they did, they wouldn't nerf weapons and say, "oh we're doing this because this is what these weapons were originally meant/intended for." What a lame excuse.
Thank you for making this. I am sure the testing and editing took significant time. This is going to be a real throat punch to many players including myself and Pixonic ought to be ashamed of themselves for even trying it. Just take away the sharpshooter pilot skill for shotguns so at least we can use that slot for something else and that is a pretty big nerf on its own. They are gutting Gust and Storm and are undercutting our investment in time and money to acquire and upgrade these weapons and other items over the years. Pixonic owes its players more and if they rebalance like this it is offensive and they deserve to lose a huge portion of their player and financial base.
It is another nail in WR's coffin for me and many others. Last 5 months I am grinding 8 storms to max. ATM do not feel spending money or even time with the game.
@@dadadula8199 yeah I don't mind it if they nerf it a little but my point is that they nerf old weopons just to make their new toys look and feel more powerful. I really hate that kind of business model.

The nerf basically changes the shotguns from damage potential optimized weapons into burst damage optimized weapons and almost halves their dpm. If this nerf gets through, shotguns will be outperformed by lightning and flame weapons at short range, when they are supposed to be unmatched at close distance. I bought shotguns for their damage potential so I can get the most out of playing well. This change forces players to change their playstyle if they want to keep using their ony weapons. A different approach of changing shotguns would be to increase their bullet spread by 5%, maybe decrease their maximum range to 400m and decrease the effect of the sharpshooter skill to 15%. Those nerfs would be still significant, but would not put shotguns into their grave.
Thank you for listening to suggestions. I know building an mk1 level 8 hanger, even on a BR account, is a hassle but comparison videos test server vs live server are undeniable. I also like that you chose an easy kill like the Gareth as the target. By seeing how useless these are after initial burst against easy target one can easily see that against a stronger bot or Titan you would never get a second chance. You would spend the game just hiding. Now the lockdown weapons are the next obvious comparison video. Might want to start building an mk1 level 8 Avenger also because after this it is most probable next nerf. Great job.
Pixonic have basically increased the divide in their pursuit of money. If these stats make it onto the live server then I see even more players leaving this game as they'll see themselves throwing rocks at tanks.
I think I’m going to quit war robot if they don’t stop the pay to win. Pix strategy: release new weapon/robot, make bundle for that weapon/robot, nerf good weapon/robot until the point that there is no use for them at all. Then nerf the new weapon/robot and repeat again.
We've done protest many times. Works for maybe 1 month then its back to pay to win. Here's a list of a few we have used: -Schutze with anciles -Cossack with ECU shield -Destrier with all ECU shields -Natasha with aniles and ECU shields -Stalker with ECU shields -Carnage with anciles -Weaponless bots -Don't use the new bots/ META weapons and bot These have all been used multiple times as protest. But it's gonna stay a pay to win game. That's how Pixonic has been since the release of the Dash bots. Pre-dash bots, we happily paid for VIP. Most have left the game now or like me and many others don't spend any money anymore which you will suffer more loss and it'll be harder times on the battlefield.
This is for them to buy the atomizer, unlimited recharge, has medium distance and only loses pressure, PIXONIC destroying the short-range combat in order to squeeze the wallets a little more.
I noted this too on both test servers and have been posting Pixonic ruined shotguns with this nerf. Thank you for posting this comparison !! Have shared it
Appreciate this breakdown. It would be helpful to see what multiple shotguns together would do with the nerf, since you are multiplying burst damage and 4 of the same might actually kill faster if they can do it before reaching reload cap. Also, gameplay of test server would be more informative than gameplay of live server, for future vids. Thanks for the info, and keep up the good work!
In anticipation to this changes i have deleted both my ios and my android wr accounts , i do spend cash on it but not where near what you need to spend to just get by, my corona and storm leeches are about to be useless, it takes for ever to upgrade a bot and weapons to a resonable level and then you have to start again , i think i going to leave this game for the rich guys, pigsonic its becoming sick and toxic , and way way too predictable ,even when i win i feel i was set up to win no much skill needed in this game , so enjoy ladys and gents , im out for good.
Well all this did is make tanks even more harder to deal with and more in the meta. With shotguns like these you would never be able to do much against fenrirs, falcons, invaders, phantoms let alone titans. These shotguns are now basically more hit-run
Flame Agar not true scoruge how ever u spell that thing and it’s heavy counterpart do really damage so do flamethrowers and so do vipers sooo inaccurate post you put up
Gerald Capo shotguns were the “meta” do you know what the “meta” means? They were most powerful weapons in the game and for good reason . They did devastating damage at close range much more than the flames and even corrosion. These weapons were perfect for doing huge damage to tanks and with these weapons gone, it is 1 less weapon that can be used to fight tanks which therefore means tanks are harder to deal with. Also the new way they are in the test server are hit run which means both my points are accurate. Reread the post

Daaaaang, you werent even running the same stuff they were yet you kicked their ass! that was an intense game. personally, i dont think shotguns need a nerf other than the shot accuracy like you said. 10%-15% would do perfectly as sharpshooter can compensate for that loss.
This as got to be the most currupt game out at the moment, any of you players ever noticed that when you get to around 50 to 60% win rate your weapons seem to get less affective and your bots seem to die faster, and you go on a losing streak dropping you back down, there nerving people's accounts temporarily in the hope they will spend money, Recently they set out new terms and conditions which you had to click and agree to so that you could play the game, one of the terms was for them to have access to certain things on your device or phone in which they say they need to make sure to identify you. I have security software on my phone because of my job and it as now warned me 8 times in the last 2 days that war robots pixonic is trying to access my personal information > photos, number, contacts, Google searches ect, so far it's been blocking it I hope. I have had a tech guy at work to look into pixonic programing on my device and he said this game is fishing for personal information on my phone acting like a virus and that's dangerous.
I feel the same as most people, these weapons are expensive to buy, cheap to upgrade, but can keep us in the fight. I finally have a hanger where I can use storm and gust to stay in the fight and have fun. This new nerf makes that line up useless in champion league. I hope they make the storm silver instead of 2500 gold. after seeing what happened to orkan, these shotgun weapons will be obsolete. Maybe increase upgrade costs and waiting times but keep them in battle not on the shelf.
This is nature of shotguns that can deal heavy damage in close range in my opinion they should decrease accuracy of shotguns in long range and in other hand they should nerf leech because one person may use shot guns on kumigo or other outdated bots
I think at point blank they're getting stronger. It's just that they are more like burst damage weapons now. I think on bots like spectre or leech this might be beneficial but the bots with less firepower are going to suffer. overall I think this is a nerf
Im start to get enough this Pixo's crap action,they dont care their players at all,only thing,what they care is the players wallets....This players robbery has going on ,at the whole this game existing time,i have played WR 5 years now,but every time,its getting worse! When you have buyed something,its yours,and nobody,i mean nobody,should remove or change it,after you buyed it ,because it is really yours,but that greedy Pixonic continues to doing that.....all players should go to the boycott against Pixo,and show them,who is keeping up their company,without players,is no Pixonic either ⚒️🤜🏻🤛🏻⚒️

I was ready to use Halo/Corona in my Tyr, but now I suppose I must go with Shredder/Pulsar instead, since I didn't like the Spark/Scourge setup much....
I’ll be selling my storms and gust for silver. I think corona and halos will be also sold for silver. Call of Duty is the other game I’m playing so less of one and more of the other. Pixonic is a rich mans game. 🙁
I wouldn't sell any of your weapons you will not get no where near what you paid to upgrade them. Plus pixonic does this crap all the time to make money on the new stuff. But im sure after hearing all the complaints and after some time they will rework the shotguns so there not overpowering but still good. I know shotguns should not be able to do major damage like they do now at over 300 meters especially on a leach with 4 of them and you can do nothing except take the damage even with phase shift thats only 3 seconds. And just like the phase shift nerf thats another way for them to make more money people still got to pay 40 power cells for 2 seconds less thats bull crap it should only be like 20 power cells now its definitely a rich mans game almost if you want to have all the best stuff. I have probably spent a thousand dollars on this game and have only been playing 8 months I got addicted and then started seeing how they were and i quit spending money on it i only pay for premium account and operations pass and even thats bull crap i should not have to pay just so i can get silver its so damn expensive to upgrade stuff and to promote pilots i will play for 12 hours straight and still not have enough to upgrade something with premium account if i didn't have so much money invested i would delete the game. And one of the worst things is that even though pixonic gets all this damn money they cant make the game even work properly with this newest update i get constant lagging and at least 5-10 crashes a day and i play on android and have a new good phone and unlimited 4G internet none of my other games do that I've done everything to try and fix it but still does it. I will be doing really good in a match usually when it happens when i have probably 3-4 million damage and many kills and then it crashes
The gust nerf is a huge benefit for my loki. Because it unloads super fast so that my loki can go back to stealth after a quick burst. The reload may be long but it's ok cuz the Loki has infinite stealth.
Aygir, please make a comparison video between nerfed shotgun (storm/corona) against MG's (punisher T), I think we need to replace shotgun because the nerf thing is sooooo massive
Some shotguns need rebalancing. Corona and Storm, lower the damage at mid range, make Storm same clip size as corona but higher damage output than corona. Gust and Glory ok as is. Thunder, increase damage. Halo, decrease damage at mid range. Just my quick opinion.
Wow that pretty much made more then half my hanger useless. And on top of that they put the shotguns back to were they were pre shot grouping skill. I want to see Manny try his 18 godlike with the rebalance
I am fine with gust rebalance, if it gets the clip of 9. Then it would be stronger first but less effective against multiple enemies, which would be a good thing. However, I can't do anything but disagree with storm losing ammo in its clip. Gust is acceptable rework that changes the weapon's preferred playstyle, storm is complete nerf in almost every way. Let it keep its clip and I'm fine with it too!

The kinetic shotguns are not that challenging in the live server, so why nerf it...Its already hard for free players to have a place at the top, so why nerf a gun that is used by most of the free players...Kinetic shotguns are a good way for spending saved gold

Oh come on now! I was about to maximize my last 4th Storm for Leech, now i wont be able to enjoy the weapons like this :( Blitz has Gusts, Ares has Halos and Storms, Tyr has Halos and Storm and Strider Halo and Glory, basically full of energy and kinetic shotguns! It took me a lot of time to upgrade them i even bought one Storm...for nothing?!

I know how you feel i run 10mk2 storms. I don't know what too do. Replace them? With what..? Wepons that take twice as long to upgrade..? I will have to change my whole play style. This is not good
Best way to rebalance War Robots is to make all old weapons/bots silver, all semi-new weapons/bots that has been out for more than 1-2 year should become gold. Then all brand new weapons and bots can stay component until they've been out for 1-2 years. And titans can stay their own currency. We get new bots and weapons every year, and some are useless now but are still too expensive to get because components take a couple of months to get. And upgrading prices are stupidly expensive. If they really want players to just spend money, then just use real currency priced and remove all silver, gold, components and platinum currency. Because I've been playing for 5 years and I see new players who buys all the new bots and pay for all the upgrades. I use multiple accounts. And i leave one account in silver just to see what's happening. And it is insane how many players will pay hundreds of dollars to have a similar set up as a top champion league player. Because old weapons/bots are near useless in lower leagues now. And most players are using level 10 weapons and bots to even be able to survive 5 minutes especially with all the titans running arround.
im surprised ao jun hasnt been nerfed. i produced it when it came out, and it's been my greatest investment since. ive gotten a fenrir from an event, and a few other bots ive made and pulled from events. its so hard in masters 2 and up.
Quite reasonable nerf.. those shootguns is annoying as hell. Keep on fireing until you someone stops you. This way you would have to retreat to reload. Makes sence

I agree with your statement about nerfing their accuracy. The farther the targets are the lower the accuracy. However, will pixonic listen?

Yeah it's endless cycle of op and nerfs. This game rewards you too little as a f2p. Other game gives a lot more than this.

I bought shotguns for their damage potential so I can get the most out of playing well. This change forces players to change their playstyle if they want to keep using their ony weapons.
A different approach of changing shotguns would be to increase their bullet spread by 5%, maybe decrease their maximum range to 400m and decrease the effect of the sharpshooter skill to 15%. Those nerfs would be still significant, but would not put shotguns into their grave.
Thank you for listening to suggestions. I know building an mk1 level 8 hanger, even on a BR account, is a hassle but comparison videos test server vs live server are undeniable. I also like that you chose an easy kill like the Gareth as the target. By seeing how useless these are after initial burst against easy target one can easily see that against a stronger bot or Titan you would never get a second chance. You would spend the game just hiding. Now the lockdown weapons are the next obvious comparison video. Might want to start building an mk1 level 8 Avenger also because after this it is most probable next nerf. Great job.
Pixonic have basically increased the divide in their pursuit of money. If these stats make it onto the live server then I see even more players leaving this game as they'll see themselves throwing rocks at tanks.
I think I’m going to quit war robot if they don’t stop the pay to win. Pix strategy: release new weapon/robot, make bundle for that weapon/robot, nerf good weapon/robot until the point that there is no use for them at all. Then nerf the new weapon/robot and repeat again.

Here's a list of a few we have used:
-Schutze with anciles
-Cossack with ECU shield
-Destrier with all ECU shields
-Natasha with aniles and ECU shields
-Stalker with ECU shields
-Carnage with anciles
-Weaponless bots
-Don't use the new bots/ META weapons and bot
These have all been used multiple times as protest. But it's gonna stay a pay to win game. That's how Pixonic has been since the release of the Dash bots. Pre-dash bots, we happily paid for VIP. Most have left the game now or like me and many others don't spend any money anymore which you will suffer more loss and it'll be harder times on the battlefield.

This is for them to buy the atomizer, unlimited recharge, has medium distance and only loses pressure, PIXONIC destroying the short-range combat in order to squeeze the wallets a little more.

Appreciate this breakdown. It would be helpful to see what multiple shotguns together would do with the nerf, since you are multiplying burst damage and 4 of the same might actually kill faster if they can do it before reaching reload cap. In anticipation to this changes i have deleted both my ios and my android wr accounts , i do spend cash on it but not where near what you need to spend to just get by, my corona and storm leeches are about to be useless, it takes for ever to upgrade a bot and weapons to a resonable level and then you have to start again , i think i going to leave this game for the rich guys, pigsonic its becoming sick and toxic , and way way too predictable ,even when i win i feel i was set up to win no much skill needed in this game , so enjoy ladys and gents , im out for good.

Well all this did is make tanks even more harder to deal with and more in the meta. With shotguns like these you would never be able to do much against fenrirs, falcons, invaders, phantoms let alone titans. These shotguns are now basically more hit-run

Gerald Capo shotguns were the “meta” do you know what the “meta” means? They were most powerful weapons in the game and for good reason . They did devastating damage at close range much more than the flames and even corrosion. These weapons were perfect for doing huge damage to tanks and with these weapons gone, it is 1 less weapon that can be used to fight tanks which therefore means tanks are harder to deal with. Also the new way they are in the test server are hit run which means both my points are accurate. Reread the post

Daaaaang, you werent even running the same stuff they were yet you kicked their ass! that was an intense game. personally, i dont think shotguns need a nerf other than the shot accuracy like you said. 10%-15% would do perfectly as sharpshooter can compensate for that loss.
How about the energy shot guns? They fire horizontally so the nerf is making them spread more= more enemies hit per shot?
This as got to be the most currupt game out at the moment, any of you players ever noticed that when you get to around 50 to 60% win rate your weapons seem to get less affective and your bots seem to die faster, and you go on a losing streak dropping you back down, there nerving people's accounts temporarily in the hope they will spend money,
Recently they set out new terms and conditions which you had to click and agree to so that you could play the game, one of the terms was for them to have access to certain things on your device or phone in which they say they need to make sure to identify you.
I have security software on my phone because of my job and it as now warned me 8 times in the last 2 days that war robots pixonic is trying to access my personal information > photos, number, contacts, Google searches ect, so far it's been blocking it I hope.
I have had a tech guy at work to look into pixonic programing on my device and he said this game is fishing for personal information on my phone acting like a virus and that's dangerous.

I feel the same as most people, these weapons are expensive to buy, cheap to upgrade, but can keep us in the fight. I finally have a hanger where I can use storm and gust to stay in the fight and have fun. This new nerf makes that line up useless in champion league. I hope they make the storm silver instead of 2500 gold. after seeing what happened to orkan, these shotgun weapons will be obsolete. Maybe increase upgrade costs and waiting times but keep them in battle not on the shelf.

This is nature of shotguns that can deal heavy damage in close range in my opinion they should decrease accuracy of shotguns in long range and in other hand they should nerf leech because one person may use shot guns on kumigo or other outdated bots

I think at point blank they're getting stronger. It's just that they are more like burst damage weapons now. I think on bots like spectre or leech this might be beneficial but the bots with less firepower are going to suffer. overall I think this is a nerf

I’ll be selling my storms and gust for silver. I think corona and halos will be also sold for silver. Call of Duty is the other game I’m playing so less of one and more of the other. Pixonic is a rich mans game. 🙁
I wouldn't sell any of your weapons you will not get no where near what you paid to upgrade them. Plus pixonic does this crap all the time to make money on the new stuff. But im sure after hearing all the complaints and after some time they will rework the shotguns so there not overpowering but still good. I know shotguns should not be able to do major damage like they do now at over 300 meters especially on a leach with 4 of them and you can do nothing except take the damage even with phase shift thats only 3 seconds. And just like the phase shift nerf thats another way for them to make more money people still got to pay 40 power cells for 2 seconds less thats bull crap it should only be like 20 power cells now its definitely a rich mans game almost if you want to have all the best stuff. I have probably spent a thousand dollars on this game and have only been playing 8 months I got addicted and then started seeing how they were and i quit spending money on it i only pay for premium account and operations pass and even thats bull crap i should not have to pay just so i can get silver its so damn expensive to upgrade stuff and to promote pilots i will play for 12 hours straight and still not have enough to upgrade something with premium account if i didn't have so much money invested i would delete the game. And one of the worst things is that even though pixonic gets all this damn money they cant make the game even work properly with this newest update i get constant lagging and at least 5-10 crashes a day and i play on android and have a new good phone and unlimited 4G internet none of my other games do that I've done everything to try and fix it but still does it. I will be doing really good in a match usually when it happens when i have probably 3-4 million damage and many kills and then it crashes

The gust nerf is a huge benefit for my loki. Because it unloads super fast so that my loki can go back to stealth after a quick burst.
The reload may be long but it's ok cuz the Loki has infinite stealth.

Some shotguns need rebalancing. Corona and Storm, lower the damage at mid range, make Storm same clip size as corona but higher damage output than corona. Gust and Glory ok as is. Thunder, increase damage. Halo, decrease damage at mid range. Just my quick opinion.
Wow that pretty much made more then half my hanger useless. And on top of that they put the shotguns back to were they were pre shot grouping skill. I want to see Manny try his 18 godlike with the rebalance

lol gareth is the worst bot which you could take as target to test shotguns, you should take leo.
I am fine with gust rebalance, if it gets the clip of 9. Then it would be stronger first but less effective against multiple enemies, which would be a good thing. However, I can't do anything but disagree with storm losing ammo in its clip. Gust is acceptable rework that changes the weapon's preferred playstyle, storm is complete nerf in almost every way. Let it keep its clip and I'm fine with it too!
I think they should change the range from 500m to 350m. And leave everything else alone.

The kinetic shotguns are not that challenging in the live server, so why nerf it...Its already hard for free players to have a place at the top, so why nerf a gun that is used by most of the free players...Kinetic shotguns are a good way for spending saved gold

Blitz has Gusts, Ares has Halos and Storms, Tyr has Halos and Storm and Strider Halo and Glory, basically full of energy and kinetic shotguns! It took me a lot of time to upgrade them i even bought one Storm...for nothing?!

Best way to rebalance War Robots is to make all old weapons/bots silver, all semi-new weapons/bots that has been out for more than 1-2 year should become gold. Then all brand new weapons and bots can stay component until they've been out for 1-2 years. And titans can stay their own currency.
We get new bots and weapons every year, and some are useless now but are still too expensive to get because components take a couple of months to get. And upgrading prices are stupidly expensive. If they really want players to just spend money, then just use real currency priced and remove all silver, gold, components and platinum currency. Because I've been playing for 5 years and I see new players who buys all the new bots and pay for all the upgrades. I use multiple accounts. And i leave one account in silver just to see what's happening. And it is insane how many players will pay hundreds of dollars to have a similar set up as a top champion league player. Because old weapons/bots are near useless in lower leagues now. And most players are using level 10 weapons and bots to even be able to survive 5 minutes especially with all the titans running arround.

im surprised ao jun hasnt been nerfed. i produced it when it came out, and it's been my greatest investment since. ive gotten a fenrir from an event, and a few other bots ive made and pulled from events. its so hard in masters 2 and up.
